Marshawn Lynch, Ray Rice and Frank Gore should be above Forte and Richardson. I'd go: 1. Peterson 2. Foster 3. Lynch 4. McCoy 5. Rice 6. Charles 7. Morris 8. Gore 9. Martin 10. Spiller RB to make biggest increase in value in 2013: Ridley...NE is going to be running a lot more than in the past.

The Patriots may want to run more this year, but if teams start stacking box on them it won't work. The Patriots also let Danny Woodhead go, which was another safety value outlet guy for Brady like Welker. Woodhead was always in on passing downs and helped bail Brady out. Brady is going to have to find a lot of receivers quick during training camp in the next month or so. I had Ridley on my fantasy team last year and he was a great 2nd/3rd RB Flex guy for TDs and yards, but won't be as good if the Pats don't keep their passing attack as a threat. |

Re: Alfred Morris Thread.
Teams won't consistently stack the box against Patriots because the Pats have Brady. Stacking the box is playing right into their hand. Patriots want you to stack the box. They dare you.
Back in the day Brady won Superbowls with weak ass WR's and TE's. HE does not need top receivers to be effective through the air. |

Re: Alfred Morris Thread.
What I love about Morris is how hard we rode him last year, and he never slowed or wore down. Always answered the bell, and in big-time situations. And stayed healthy through it all.

Exactly right. Teams have to respect Brady. Stack the box and Amendola will go off for 200 yards and 3 TDs. We know he's capable.

Re: Alfred Morris Thread.
Alfred Morris looked good as a rookie but he's no longer new to defenses as he was last year. But the zone blocking scheme alone should assure Morris at least 1,500 yards rushing in 2013.

He was "no longer new" after Week 1, 2012. If you can't stop him after that, you can't stop him. |

It's not like familiarity with Adrian Peterson stops him, either.

And it's not like our coaches won't be cooking up new wrinkles for the offense this year. Offensive schemes are constantly evolving year to year. |

Think deeply, scowan. Alfred Morris crept up on defenses last year. After 17 games teams have a pile of film on him now as oppose to last season....and I never said Morris won't be as good as he was in 2012. What I said was he looked good as a rookie.

Re: Alfred Morris Thread.
The Cowboys played him twice late in the season, and in the second game didn't he rush for 200 yds? or 2 times against the Giants for 120 yds?
Yes teams will have film on him, but unlike Griffin, Morris' film isn't going to show you much. He finds a hole, cuts, and goes. If enough guys hold onto him, he goes down. Now, if you say they are going to game plan to stop him, then our game plan changes too. If they are putting eight in the box to stop Morris' threat, than that means someone else is going to be exposed. The 2 Cowboy's games really showed the danger of the Skins current attack. If you go in thinking you aren't going to let the run beat you(like the 1st Cowboy's game), we do have weapons that can get behind you, and score. If you go in focusing on stopping the medium to long passing game, Morris can put a 130-200 yd game on tape. |

If you are a running team you are a physical team. Everyone wants to finesse their way down the field these days, but the Skins sort of pound you into submission, then throw it over your head, when you least expect it. That's another reason why I think the Read/Option is not going away, because it is a supped-up Play Action play that can result in 11 guys remaining active through the whole play. |
