Re: Bigger Bust????
for me it's between george and shuler and howard. i never thought shuler was a good choice. i wanted dilfer , at least he had played a pro style offense. they chose shuler becuase he could scramble. i expected more from george and he totally hugged. howard i also expected more of even though i didn't want them to trade up. i wanted to stay put and get troy vincent, can you imagine the secondary we would have had with green and vincent. that's what makes it smart more.

Re: Bigger Bust????
What about Norv Turner? right now I'd have to say the biggest redskins bust in my lifetime would be Shuler, Westbrook, or Spurrier. None of them lasted all that long in the nfl and none of them lived up the huge hype surrending them so it makes it tough to decided a "winner". I guess I'm gonna go with Westbrook cuz we was a dud on the field most of the time as well as off the field which he showed when he sucker punched Stephen Davis. If Ramsey doesn't improve a bit this year he may start slipping down into this discussion in the future.

Re: Bigger Bust????
I wonder why no one has suggested Daniel M. Snyder for biggest bust?
He took over a team that was on the cusp of contending - made the playoffs in 99/00. Then he "added his value" to the mix and there haven't been any winning seasons since. I'm not trying to say that Heath Shuler and Desmond Howard and Mark Carrier and Deion Sanders and Jeff George and Stubby and Mark Brunell were anything positive here. They were not. But I don't know that any of them had a major hand in a 5 year run of losing...

Re: Bigger Bust????
I think Skinz_Domin8 is somehow related to Mark Brunell-notice the number 8 in his username-hence the constant Ramsey bashing
Either that or he's just

Re: Bigger Bust????
I think the onus is on you to prove your point, you're in the minority. I could quote lots of facts and figures, use bar/pie charts and prove that Ramsey is the better QB but you wouldn't understand and I'd have wasted my time.

So if you're going to say Patrick Ramsey is already the biggest bust ever, maybe some of us won't think it's nearly as ignorant a comment if you provided some info to back it up. And before you think of posting it, just know that the whole more losses than wins argument is not a good one

Re: Bigger Bust????
Ramsey bigger bust than Shuler??
Please prove that point, I'd love to hear it. I'll give you something to get started with, here's their career stats Shuler: 29 games, 292/593 49.2%, 3691 yds, 15 TD, 33 INT Ramsey: 29 games, 465/836, 55.6%, 5370 yds, 33 TD, 28 INT |

Re: Bigger Bust????
as a side question, how many times did we trade down in that draft before we acutally picked him. I was at the stadium for the draft day party and everyone was losing their patience becuase it was taking so long and we had all planned on leaving like two hours before that.
