Bill Barnwell tweeted:
Count $550 million in contracts, $238 million in guaranteed money handed out by NFL teams so far.

I just hope our Special Teams unit gets its shit together. Let's not forget that Harvin scored a TD in a kick return during the SB, which pretty much put the nail in the coffin for Manning and the Broncos.

To be fair, the nail in the coffin was the first play of the game.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

San Fran surprise coming Monday | ProFootballTalk

So my guess is San Fran and Eagles are going to swipe QBs with San Fran getting a 2nd round pick as well.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if they swap Kaep and Foles.

Re: NFL Free Agents Signings

^^ Agreed. Not sure how I feel about it. I was never sold on Kap or Foles as being anything other than mediocre starters. Kap has many of the same issues RGIII has. Foles, even in his phenomenal year, just didn't convince me he was special.

If it happens, CK will be re-upping the option attack in a big way. Essentially, inside/outside zone runs and package plays galore. It will probably all work as planned and I will hate the Eagles even more.

Looks like the surprise is Willis retiring from the NFL at 30.

Patrick Willis, Justin Smith retiring from 49ers | ProFootballTalk

I didn't realize he had been in the league 8 years. Seems like about half that. Been great since day one. Guys drafted same year as Willis: (first rounders) Brady Quinn, LaRon Landry, A. Peterson, J. Thomas, B. Merriweather, B. Grubbs, D. Revis; (other rounds) Jacoby Jones, Ryan Harris, Doug Free, Kevin Kolb, Eric Weddle, Tanard Jackson.

If true, huge loss for SF.

In retrospect yes, but I feel that this particular play/score took the air completely out of Denver.
