Re: Around the NFL- Week 13
This is what poor coaching looks like. I've never though Jim Caldwell was any good as a head coach. Man is in over his head really.

Amazing finish. I was speechless. All three late games this week (Sunday, Monday, Thursday) were decided with zero time on the clock.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 13
With the concussion talk the last couple of weeks with a couple of QB's and NFL today putting the responsibility back on the players.....then there is this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Io6hPdC41RM Saw this preview on ESPN today. A major movie release with Will Smith. Supposedly based on a true story and has a ton of NFL logos and references all over it. Roger Goddell's name mentioned all over it. The NFL lawyers must be working over time on this. |

Re: Around the NFL- Week 13
Caldwell just getting roasted today about the defense he had on the hail mary.If I'm remembering correctly isnt that the way the skins lined up for the Giants last play and the announcer was saying that was a great call on defense?
How to defend a Hail Mary and how the Detroit Lions screwed up - NFL

I love Jerra'........
He'll fit in well with the other Dallas....fella's. They can all sit around with their babysitters listening to counseling sessions from Michael (that's not my crack pipe) Irvin. I think Cleveland can be counted on to cut a righteous deal. sweet...

Re: Around the NFL- Week 13
I don't understand why teams just don't blitz in Hail Mary situations. Or maybe over load the right side of the o-line and make Rodgers run to his left or throw it quickly. Caldwell should be getting killed in the media. It was poorly defended. Caldwell comes off as a good position coach but not a guy I'd have leading my franchise.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 13
Manziel really wasn't doing anything wrong. He's a grown man and if he wants to go party in the club on his bye week then so be it. Cleveland already knew he led this lifestyle so not sure why they would bench him for it, or try and change the guy. He wasn't breaking any laws. The rehab thing was obviously a waste of everyone's time.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 13
If he was a halfway decent QB, no one would care. Watch the film breakdowns on him. Even when he makes positive yards, he leaves many more on the field. Consistently.
Please Dallas, please sign him.

Also, why were there 2 Lions players playing the boundaries 15 yards off the line of scrimmage on an untimed down??
