I was really hoping he would have the benefit of a full camp.....

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
I'm predicting Houston Bates steps up big this year! He flashed well in pre-season last year.
Athletic, high motor....with a year under his belt, he comes in more prepared and knowing damned well he can do it at the highest level. |

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
DeSean Jackson-Josh Norman a fun matchup in Washington Redskins camp - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN
Love hearing this: Bashaud Breeland's development continues to impress, so when he faces Pierre Garcon, it’s a must-watch as well. ▪ I want to explore this more later, but it’s been interesting to watch Breeland’s development. I’ve always thought he was a smart corner and good learner. But watching him Thursday I recalled how he used to hold quite a bit his rookie year, especially in practices. A key was getting him to keep his hands down. Well, Thursday, that’s what he did: When facing Garcon, his hands were low and down around the receiver’s hips: not visible to officials, and it lessens the desire to hold. Smart. Breeland looked really good, and coach Perry Fewell was probably as enthusiastic about him during practice as any player. Breeland is an unsung corner...had a great year in 15 and has lockdown potential

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
If Norman and Breeland can play like we expect, that will help every aspect of our defense. If Cravens comes in and can help take away the TE outlets, our Defense could really be top notch.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
so much for cautionary:
Cooley: Scot McCloughan punched wall over initial Josh Doctson injury diagnosis - Washington - Scout Here's the story. McCloughan was interviewed by ESPN 980 radio hosts Chris Cooley and Kevin Sheehan Thursday for a segment that aired Friday, The bandaged hand showed as well. "He was sitting next to me, his hand was swollen and it was bandaged up and taped together," Cooley said. The former Redskins tight end, not wanting to create an awkward situation during the interview, waited to ask about the apparent injury when McCloughan exited. According to Cooley, McCloughan said he received a call from one of the Redskins team doctors informing him that Doctson could be out for the next three months. The timeframe of this conversation was unclear, though Doctson missed most of Washington's offseason workouts in May and June.

Yeah, still noteworthy. Like McC, I get frustrated with injuries.

Rookie wr's seem to be the ones that have the toughest time adjusting to the pro game. He's missing valuable reps that he badly needs.

If Riley is not a starter, they will either cut him, or renegotiate his contract.... if he balks, he is gone

How are things going at Redskins camp? So far it seems to be rainbows and unicorn farts. It feels like the only news is coming from the discussion board.

Well I'll take unicorn farts all day...another one: Trent Murphy is looking good Your right, so far I've heard breeland and desean Jackson have been out-fucking-standing. I'll say it again, desean jax is gonna have a big year as long as he can stay healthy. From the article, Greg toler and Matt ioannidis also been shining, which is the first I've heard bout that.

I'm getting very concerned with JDoc.
He went from day to day to week to week and now today Gruden stated there is no timetable for his return. Yea yea not a pressing need to get him on the field right away but a rook needs Training Camp reps. Pissed off
