Everyone is a great passer in college lol so was manziel.. He is compared to a DaK, that means down field he isn't very accurate.. We have a prolific accurate attack right now, I'd rather have trubisky or mahomes

Lol, Oh yeah!? Well I would rather have Watson!

He is compared to Dak by whom and so what? Does that unknown person's comparison determine his skillset? Not for me it doesn't. I watch my own film do my own research.

That accuracy knock is bull as is the deep ball accuracy.

Watson is 3rd in adjusted completion rate. 3rd.

Being able to stretch the field does wonders for an offense, and Watson is one of the best in the nation at throwing deep. Among QBs with at least 50 deep attempts (passes traveling 20-plus yards in air), Watson ranks sixth in adjusted completion rate, at 49.4 percent, and his numbers improved as the season went on.
You know what Watson was praised for at the combine (and people were surprised by even though the shouldn't have been?) his accuracy.

I think Watson could come into this offense and play well as rookie.

I think Watson will make a good Pro QB. I'm sure he has things to learn, just like all rookies do.

Jon Gruden likes Deshaun a lot- he talked up his good demeanor and humility.

And by the way, if you check Watson's college stats compared to Cousins, you'll see that Watson was higher rated (and more accurate).

I'd like Cousins to stay. But we've had such bad Qb's I think we think no one else could play the position as well. If we can get a good trade, like with Cleveland, we could add Watson and some more very good players on defense.

Re: Post your 5 pick mock.

Drafting qb in the first couple rounds would be a really bad move...and I don't see us doing it.

Too much talent at defense and running back in the first several rounds to be thinking qb. This draft really lines up nice for our needs: , pass rusher, nose tackle, cb, ilb, dline, rb....some nice interior Oline prospects in rounds 3-5...we play this right we could come away with a lot talent in positions of need.

When u look at tackle, qb, wide receiver, TE...this draft isn't as deep there.

Re: Post your 5 pick mock.

I'd be happy with this draft. And that first five would improve out defense dramatically.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 17: Haason Reddick, OLB/ILB, Temple (A)
Round 2 Pick 17: Zach Cunningham, OLB/ILB, Vanderbilt (A)
Round 3 Pick 17: DeMarcus Walker, DE, Florida State (B+)
Round 4 Pick 7: Vincent Taylor, DT, Oklahoma State (A)
Round 4 Pick 17: Kyle Fuller, C, Baylor (A)

Round 5 Pick 10: Corn Elder, CB, Miami (Fla.) (A-)
Round 6 Pick 17: Ryan Switzer, WR, North Carolina (A+)
Round 6 Pick 25: T.J. Logan, RB, North Carolina (A-)
Round 7 Pick 2: Stevie Tu'ikolovatu, DT, Southern California (B+)
Round 7 Pick 17: Johnathan Ford, FS, Auburn (B-)

Re: Post your 5 pick mock.

This draft is so good it's not even close to being realistic. It didn't even take thought on my part to make the picks.

17: R1P17 - EDGE HAASON REDDICK - TEMPLE
49: R2P17 - LB ZACH CUNNINGHAM - VANDERBILT
81: R3P17 - S JUSTIN EVANS - TEXAS A&M
114: R4P7 - WR CHRIS GODWIN - PENN STATE
123: R4P16 - DL MONTRAVIUS ADAMS - AUBURN
154: R5P10 - EDGE RYAN ANDERSON - ALABAMA
201: R6P17 - DL RYAN GLASGOW - MICHIGAN
209: R6P25 - CB JOURDAN LEWIS - MICHIGAN
220: R7P2 - G SEAN HARLOW - OREGON STATE
235: R7P17 -TE TAYLOR MCNAMARA- USC

Had to take Ryan Anderson in the 5th. If I had that pick I'd of took a flyer on a RB somewhere at that pick or later.
