In other news: Rams acquired TE Derek Carrier from the Redskins in exchange for a 2018 seventh-round pick. The move reunites Carrier with coach Sean McVay, and provides some experienced depth behind young guns Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee. Higbee had a bit of a rough summer. Despite his familiarity with McVay's system and McVay's clear fondness for him, Carrier won't become a pass-catching factor in Los Angeles. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Sep 2 - 1:43 PM

Re: Final Roster
Cut Robert Davis. I think he has real potential and hope we can get him on the PS. And Harris too.

Re: Final Roster
I wanted to keep him on the 53, unfortunately you just can't keep everyone. Glad Holsey made it.

Re: Final Roster
A little surprised by the Kouandjio cut, they must like this Tyler Catalina. Apparently he's able to play pretty much anywhere in the line...

Re: Final Roster
I'm glad he got cut. He had enough time to prove himself. Onto the next younger prospect. Football is cold blooded. No mercy.

Re: Final Roster
I agree with you. Give the young kids some time, but if you already gave them time and you still don't like what you see its time to move on.

I'd say the same thing about Grant. Id have rather kept Harris or Davis at this point. I can only assume Grant has incriminating photos of someone. Would be happy to be proved wrong and see him finally contribute. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Final Roster
I'm excited about Holsey. Really glad they kept him. I think our secondary is legit this year. And i think Fabian is a stud.
I like Breeland too. I hope he balls out this year and gets paid by another team. And not because I don't want him, i do in ideal world, but dealing from position of stength is how you build good roster. Same reason I'm glad we got draft pick for Carrier. I think he's good but we're balling at TE. This gives us another chance to find another Holsey. Httr!

Re: Final Roster
Well according to McC Gruden might have a woody for Grant, which would explain how he keeps making the cut despite minimal production.

Re: Final Roster
I like Gruden. If he thinks Grant can contribute I'll take him at his word. Don't think he likes Grant more than his own job.

Re: Final Roster
Keeping McClure surprised me more than cutting Sudfeld.
Really not excited at the prospect of Ziggy playing NT again. No disrespect to him,but he's out of position there. Wasn't he the lowest ranked DL last year in PFF? Maybe Tomsula can work miracles, but I'll need to see it before I believe it. |
