Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central

Cousins was outstanding. He made plays when none were there.

The defense came to play at the beginning of the game but simply couldn't hold up - they were on the field too much. Dallas's offensive line will lean on you if you allow the Cowboys to get up on you.

Which brings me to Crowder. The mistakes and turnovers are what killed us. It let Dallas get ahead, and then they just pounded the rock. If you get up on Dallas, then it takes that element away, and they're not good enough to throw on you to catch up.

Crowder's mistakes lost the game. Jay sits at the podium after the game and says I don't have another punt returner to put back there right now. Doesn't matter, you're missing the point Jay. You have to send a message to Crowder and your team that that bullshit is not acceptable. Put anybody back there, doesn't matter who. They can't fumble it more often than Crowder. And it sends the needed message.

He would have put Harris in there but he went out with a concussion

Put a DB back there. Let Kendall Fuller do it. Byron Marshall. Somebody, anybody. They can't be worse than Crowder, and sending the message is too important.

RK got straight owned last night by Collins and Smith, as did Smith. Both of those guys are no where to be found in big games. Kerrigan is a guy that puts up 10-12 sacks a year but when was the last time he made A GW sack? I don't remember him doing that. It's time to draft another DE/OLB early on.

Pretty sure it was last year in the 2nd Eagles game where RK had a strip sack to end the game and Murphy recovered it.

Fuck Crowder and Doctson. Too many drops, for Crowder too many fumbles or plays directly leading to turnovers this year. And in general fuck all the injuries.

When MM went down I literally just said F it, it's not meant to be with this team

We really need a number 1 WR...crowder and doctson seem like pieces BUT not a go-to...not players who can carry the load.

Id look around the league...there are a couple coming out in free agency and some who could be moved or cut due as salary cap casualties.

Also, why not invest a little in a vet KR/PR? someone dependable. Im done with Crowder back there...its too much for him to be a WR and then cover kicks.

Finally, WR coach needs to get the boot immediately.

Josh is a good RZ threat but he can't get open in the field of play enough. Crowder is a 3 or 2 at best.

Jarvis Landry in free agency maybe? He was on the trading block this year. Could fill that go to void and for PR

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

not opposed to that...I know there have been rumblings about D Thomas in Denver...either one could walk in and assume #1 duties. Let Doctson continue to grow on the outside and work crowder in the slot, but neither of these guys show #1 abilities.

I think Doctson has #1 talent, but he's very soft IMO. If you combined his raw talent with Garcon's competitive mentality, you would have a Top-10 receiver, without question.
