Let's not forget that the Bengals have a very strong pass rush, not to mention a WR that is better than all of ours combined. Until we start pasting teams regularly, we shouldn't be looking to the next game (as I note some are already talking about Aaron Rodgers). Having said all of that, I think the Redskins are clearly a better team -- I think we win this 31 - 17.

Re: Colts pregame thread
The depth chart says Greg Stroman could take that job. Actually Trey Quinn was 3rd string on Punt Return... Crowder's still listed as 1st but I hope Stroman will do it, he did a decent job at punt returning in PS.

Even though Stroman returned only few punts in preseason, he looked good. I honestly don't mind Crowder returning punts, I just prefer for him to focus on playing WR so he won't feel like he has to do too much like last year. Last edited by GridIron26; 09-13-2018 at 10:33 AM. |

Re: Colts pregame thread
If Dunbar plays like he did Sunday, all season, he'll be holding out next off season for more money, and I wouldn't blame him, he was phenomenal against the Cardinals.

Now, once he plays his contract out (Which, if I remember correctly, isn't very long) and is a legitimate free agent I could see him wanting to be compensated for his worth. Then the question will be if we're willing to pay that amount or not.

What a value if he pans out. |

Re: Colts pregame thread
I'm so mentally broken by our post Brian Mitchell punt return game that I literally just hold my breathe and hope for a fair catch without dropping it. It would be cool to get excited about a possible PR again.
Speaking of punt returns, he wasn't a Skin, but wonder what Eric Metcalf is up to nowadays. He use to be one of my favorite players.

I want to see the Oline go into a frenzy this game. I want Silverback to get these guys fired up and I want complete annihilation of the Indy defensive front.

Mix in plenty of play action too. Let Peterson pound the rock and then come off play action to hit them deep. Smith should have all day, the offensive line should be able to handle this group.

Re: Colts pregame thread
Luck will have more success on our secondary than bradford but I dont see us losing. I'll stick with 27-20
