Re: Giants Postgame
No matter what else, Alex Smith hustles. If he hadn't, AP's fumble would have been returned for a TD and the ballgame would have been very different.

Re: Giants Postgame
If we play D like this we will be just fine. Let's see if we make a move for a WR too.

Re: Giants Postgame
Defense, Peterson, Offensive line and punter Tress 'no seas tan' Way. Awesome job. Game ball to them all. Great win.
We need to temper this win with a dose of reality so we are not terribly upset when we play a real team. We saw what happens when we play against a real QB, our offense can not keep up. Hopefully Gruden and Smith have developed more chemistry while we played these weaker teams. Atlanta next week will be a better test to see where we are. Their offense is good, their defense is inconsistent and not very stout. Looking forward to game. |

Re: Giants Postgame
If it wasn’t for the defense, OL and Peterson we would be fucked, that sums up the season.

Alex is clearly a leader. His teammates love him. That's a big deal in football, and especially at QB. He has a lot of winning qualities. If or when, depending about how you feel about him (I'm on the when side), we can be very good. I'd like to trade for D. Thomas from Denver if the price is right. Not blaming WRS for our overall struggles, but I've always been a fan of his, and I think he makes us better. Or bring back Garcon. Love that guy.

Re: Giants Postgame
How quickly people forget the awful QB play the Redskins had the last time they played the Giants at home.
Anyway, the Giants have always had the Redskins number when playing in New York. We got a W, and yes we have a lot of issues to resolve. But a 3-game winning streak is a huge for this team.

Re: Giants Postgame
Agreed. The only way you can beat Atlanta is by keeping Matty Ice and those receivers off the field.

Re: Giants Postgame
I'm not so sure about that, we will be able to run the ball on that bad defense and if we can control the clock we will be fine. I do think Atlanta is the 2nd best O we will see all yr.

Re: Giants Postgame
The way Carolina was balling today, I would call them a top 5 offense as well.

Re: Giants Postgame
Everyone who is saying Smith is no KC, you are correct Smith is a winner. There is more to the position than slinging it around the field. Look at Jeff George, if it was just slinging it, he would still be in the league.
