I can’t believe McCarthy is who they went with. Garrett and McCarthy really? The Dallas Cowboys. All that talent. And thats the best you can do? Jerry is such an egomaniac he just wants a yes man.

He didn’t even sound confident lol that dude is not a guy that can fire anyone up. The complete opposite of Ron.

Re: WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)
The whole thing is a bit overblown in my opinion. They are supposed to be confident that they are going to win, just as the WFT players and coaches should be, and it's just fine for all of them to express that. Like many have already stated - what else are they supposed to say?
I just don't see what the big deal is here. People trying to make more of a story than there really is. |

Because usually it isn’t so blunt. A coach will say, “i am confident we can get it done” or “if we play our game we can win”. Not “we are going to win this game “. Very very rarely will a coach guarantee a victory. |

WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)

Ok fine, the words “we’re going to win this game” (a guarantee) very very rarely come out of a coaches mouth. That is the reason it is a big story. I don’t think it is such a big deal either for the record, but it is extremely unusual for a coach to say that. You could almost see the look on his face after he said it like whoops. I think he was sort of fumbling for words and it just came out. Ron is definitely using it to fire the boys up. Said it was a big mistake. Every player on the team is fully aware he said it and it is motivated even more now. Fuck McCarthy. He is a fuckin bumbling idiot. And a lousy HC. |

Re: WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)
Yep, McCarthy is a dope.
I hope they don't need something as trivial as this to fire them up though. |
