Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
Jimmy G .. Trubisky .... the same kinda mediocre suck.
0-17 next year is the best route but RR didnt sign up for that. Draft a QB in first round and hope you got it right = seems like the only alternative |

And bailed out by his defense. He sucks. Id rather go with Taylor again. Save some money and draft a qb who might get on the field and be the guy. Rodgers wasn’t going to play for GB last year. It was a done deal. These guys change their minds like the wind. We beat Russ. Why wouldn’t he play for a better team than he is on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I think Jimmy g would come here and it would be a grand epic fail. He’s not mobile at all too. Not mobile and poor decision maker, without a super strong run game? I think he’d come here and be the worst QB in the league

I got something better, how about we get Tom Brady, isn’t he a free agent? Convince his ass to come to DC for his grand finale.

This AR talk is useless and a waste of time.

Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
We should turn this thread into a QB trade talk.
I think Washington should go all out on Russ. We'd be instantly a playoff team, and this would be the best offensive line Russ has EVER had in his career.

I'd have no problem going all in for Russ, AR, or Watson.

Re: How likely is it Ron and the front office will pursue Aaron Rogers?
What's useless and a waste of time is talking about guys like Trubisky or Jimmy G. Guys that will guarantee us another 7 or 8 win season and another top 12 draft pick. Ron needs to be swinging for the fences this offseason.

Knowing Danny, the pursuit has already begun. I would not doubt he was drawing up plans months ago.

Quote:
Why would Seattle trade a franchise QB in the prime of his career? Not happening. Watson? I just don't see that as an option either. 1. He doesn't want to come here. 2. We don't have the draft capital that some of our competition has. 2 strong reasons why that isn't going to happen. We have to realize that this isn't the Redskins of the 80's and 90's. This isn't a destination that players like AR, Watson or Wilson will come to. In order for us to get that kind of player it will have to be through the draft. We couldn't even land Cooper when Ron offered more $ than Dallas. They saved us from a bad signing. |
