Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
I think he needed to take 70% of the snaps this year for that to happen. Not possible now.

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Then at this point, I don’t care who the QB is because we will lose the first game if we get into the playoffs. The most important thing for this season is Snyder actually sells the team.

I’d rather lose in the playoffs than not make it though. I’ve always thought that way. Yea the best part of this whole season was the DS news. Fuck that POS and I can’t wait to see new owners. Dan is a Fan that had mega $$ but knows nothing about football Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Again if we lose Sunday we don’t deserve the playoffs. Cleveland is playing for nothing and their HC is basically out the door.

Well If Wentz starts upgrade Samuel in fantasy and downgrade McLaurin.

My gut tells me Taylor will start with a very very short leash.. but truth is either one should be able to get it done …

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
I want Wentz to start. There is no upside with Heinicke. We will continue to struggle to score with him in.
I think Wentz has a better chance of going on a little hot streak of playing within the offense and getting the ball out quickly. And he has the arm to take advantage. The shorter the routes the more important it is to get there quickly and hit the guy in stride to get YAC. Heinicke doesn't read the whole field, let alone quickly, and has a very limited arm.

I agree. If we lose I would not mind see Howell start the last game or at least play 1/2 a game. |

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
We know what Heinicke's ceiling is - and that's why they're rolling with Wentz. We have greater goals than Heinicke's feel good story about a scrappy undrafted qb winning games with game-manager play.

Dawg pound Pre Game thread
The problem is Wentz was bad besides week 1… if we get Week 1 CW we could be a scary Wildcard team. But the problem is… we don’t know what Version will show up. Yeah he looked good Saturday but the game was also out of reach pretty much. We will see what he’s made of Sunday with the playoffs on the line

The upside with Wentz is way higher. And we can't lose our 2nd round pick anymore, so let's see what Wentz can do. My opinion comes down to this question: What QB is the most likely option to catch a crazy hot streak? We basically can't lose again this season. Any loss likely pushes us out of the playoffs or means we lose our 1st playoff game. Heinicke did his job the best he could. This year was as good as we will ever get from him. Let's let Wentz try to strike gold. Note - I didn't see him play on Saturday, where I was watching closed before he came in, so my opinion is not based on that extremely limited sample size.

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
We need to find out what hotel the browns are staying and send a “handful” of paid tuggers to go over there the night before kickoff and get to Watson room. He must be fiending since the nfl threw cold water on his throbby hobby.
