Re: Eagles Postgame
We had the shot, we blew it. I'm less complaining and more disappointed in the result. Lots of good things in this game. Including the JAG chase young.. you know.. the one play he makes a game worth a damn (right back to complaining), lol

Nobody was complaining about winning. Jesus. The eye test against the Cards and Broncos said 2-0 was gonna be 2-2. Here we are. I didn’t expect to be 3-1 or 4-4. Im very optimistic about the future but the future is next year. |

Re: Eagles Postgame
Best performance of the season.
Still a bad team with bad coaches. But this year is all about Howell and seeing him progress (hopefully).

Re: Eagles Postgame
If we give this effort every week I’ll say we win 8 more games .. so 10-7 is my guess .
We should win next three ! |

That is the absolute ceiling imo. Im thinking 7-8 is where we will wind up. But like Davy said this season is about seeing Sam become the guy. Than let a real staff and GM build around him. |

Re: Eagles Postgame
It’s so weird to me that if Terry catch would have been called inbounds on the field then it probably wouldn’t have been overturned.
I was really impressed by the Oline today and the bounce back they had along with Sam.

Games like last week make me think it's more like 7. Games like today make me think it's more like 9-10. I guess the Eagles are mediocre too, since the barely squeaked by at home against a mediocre team with a terrible defense, and a statue of a head coach, who assembled a weak AF O-line...lol Like I have said. I'm not happy they lost, but there were a lot of positives today. To me, things are looking up again, despite losing to the NFC Champs on the road in OT. |

Re: Eagles Postgame
Eagles are one of those teams you gotta play a nearly perfect game to beat them. They made more plays in the end.
I'm encouraged by the way they bounced back after last week but obviously room for improvement. I'm really still not sold on JDR - I think with the talent we have on D (linebackers notwithstanding) this should be a dominant unit. Too often they were getting gashed in the run game today. Offensive line is underwhelming and Sam still holds the ball too long but I thought he showed improvement today. I think the game plan against our offense is simple - lots of pressure, creative blitzes, etc. Sam is still seeing new looks every week and it's gonna take time for him to learn. Secretly hoping Ron retires after this year, Bieniemy takes the HC job and JDR walks. I think we're better than last year but there is clearly room for improvement. My one gripe with the offense is the lack of mid-level routes. Every catch Dotson has seems to be under 10 yards. We're wasting him.

Mediocre teams don’t go 4-0. They go 2-2.

Re: Eagles Postgame
It doesn't matter what you want to call them or any team after only four games...it's like power rankings - meaningless.
We'll see where everyone is at the end of the season. Eagles were supposed to win and they did. Good on them. 13 more to go. |

Re: Eagles Postgame
I think 7 wins may be on the low side, 10 may be on the high side. 8-9 wins is where I think we'll end up.
