People need to realize we greatly overachieved this season. This team isn't close to being a legit playoff contender. That won't happen until we get a good defense.

Our defense is better than it gets credit for, and our offense has the ability to put up the points necessary. Both sides can be improved over the off season, but this is a win now league and our team has every opportunity to win, one game at a time.

We were 29th in the run defense. Just terrible. That said, our defense overachieved based on the talent we have on that side of the ball. That's a good sign of coaching right there. It does matter.

Can this team win out and take the Super Bowl? Absolutely. Will they though? I wouldn't bet any money on it.

And Tampa was 28th in pass defense. No team is perfect across the board, and our defense found ways to shut down teams in crunch time. Who knows how it will play out, but if Marshon and Sanristil are covering the back, that gives us a lot more strength to shut down runners.

I've been watching 1991 Redskins highlights all night. What Dan Snyder did to this franchise is beyond comprehension. Evil fucking troll.

But watching those highlights was awesome and Harris/Peters/Daniels are bringing us back. Life is short, I hope we're all here for it.

I understand and share this thought, but we are seeded correctly. Surprise team who is resilient and well coached with the limited pieces all over the place.

Agreed. I think this team could very well play a spoiler. One thing they've shown over the course of this season is they don't stop fighting no matter how bleak the outcome looks.

They are a very dangerous offense and I expect they will blitz our lights out on D. This game scares me. #7 is going to shred.

I prefer to take each game as it comes now. I mean, it's tight in the NFC and even the teams that essentially squeaked into the playoffs (TB & LA) are going to be tough opponents, so you can't even know who will be there in rd2 aside from the Lions. Too soon to talk SB.

But we are a different team to when we first faced the Buccs. With our trajectory we should be favourites, however slight. If the OL holds up I expect a win, 27-21.

IMO I think Washington wins, your season has not been what was expected and you hit gold with Daniels. You go into that stadium with a nothing to lose attitude and I think you win.

Not me, these guys deserve a chance to pick their own QB. They are getting their contracts if it fails it's all on Mara. One big problem is the NY Press was made to look like the ass's they are and now it's a free for all on Mara and the Giants. Jones was Mara's guy when he gave them permission to waive him that's when I knew they were staying.
