Agreed, but I wonder what happens if the D all of a sudden shows massive improvement. (Against Miami, it might not mean a lot.) But if all of a sudden, the D becomes stout, what the heck do you do with Whitt? DQ isn’t going to take the fall for taking over an injury riddled defense mid season. Very doubtful there’s any huge improvements coming. Everyone knows this move is more for optics than anything.

Switching up scheme, which needs to be done without a doubt, is only a temporary mask of the sheer lack of speed on this team. This is also the NFL, with professional and smart coaches calling offenses on the other sideline. Like Matty said its definite optics and a change of scenery.

Wouldn't fault DQ too much for the same results.

Yup, ridiculous

Everything broke our way last year, this year the complete opposite.

Hopefully we can find some middle ground next year.

In the meantime there’s not going to be big changes in the front office or staff, and there shouldn’t be.
