When did Andy Dalton go in the draft? He looks good, why the F did we not get him?

because shanahan felt that in a short year with the lockout that its a bad time to draft and develope a QB. Also he felt like Rex and Beck are good enough to get us through a season. And we liked Jarvis Jenkins a lot.

And what's up with this body bag game? How many guys have gone down today? Are we playing defensive players on our offensive line yet? Shit's starting to look like Madden.

I think they should bring back the ambulance on Madden. I always loved it how the ambulance would just run over players to get to the injured guy.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington

Losing Lichtensteiger is a huge blow for us. No running game for us whatsoever. I remember hearing people say all week that we will win if we run the ball. Haven't done that. Thus we won't win unless we change our game plan. And I'd put Beck in if Grossman goes 3 and out or throws another pick.

I just don't get how teams like the bills, giants, and 49ers can stop this offense and we can't. Our corners aren't bad, hell they're better than some of those teams starting corners.

Well, the good thing is we probably can't play much worse...I expect this to be a different half. Get a good drive for a TD, then a stop on D...and it's a game again.

Your damn right your reputation is on the line, including your job.

I believe super Rex is now 6TD and 10 turnovers, is that correct? If it is then you need to pull him just to keep the rest of the team in the game.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington

Not sure I get the play calling here. We've called only 6 rushes against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. Mind boggling.

0-4 on 3rd down conversions.

At this point if Rex makes another goof, blame MS. He should've made the change at half.
