What needs to change? Does Gibbs need to get on the field himself and do everything?

You know, I was a Skins fan when we got cheated out of the playoffs in Dallas by the refs under Pardee and the following year when they stank under Pardee. I was a Skins fan when Gibbs was 0 - 5 and people were saying they wanted Pardee back.

I think everyone has underestimated how bad this team was as a team. Everyone blamed it on Spurrier - and I think he deserves blame - but what someone did on another team before they came here doesn't count. This was a lousy team last year, with or without Spurrier. And the only mistake I think people have made this year, including myself, is thinking that Gibbs could turn a lousy team into a great one in one camp. Ain't going to happen. However, they will get better. The problems we see are correctable and I have confidence that Gibbs and his staff are working on them. That alone is different from last year when Spurrier didn't even seem to care, and neither did the players.

My two cents.

I thought under Gibbs we'd cut down on penalties and turnovers........
little did I know..................... I thought professionals knew how to CATCH passes, guess I expected too much.........Howie is right.............no business losing this game..........
SOMEWHERE Kellen Winslow Jr is smilling.................. :screama:

The defence is not doing its job either to allow a piss poor team like the browns to score on is just as bad as the job the O is doing.

Brunell must throw away 50% of his passes

I'll take thrown away balls over INTS every time. Brunell is not throwing the ball out of bounds if a receiver is open. On one play Coles stopped running his route to complain to a referee about a pass interference in the middle of the play! What in the hell was that?
