Re: New Orleans Saints/Washington Redskins: Bounty Hunters
Rogers really isn't saying anything ground breaking.
Still, why do these guys keep talking? It's like they just can't help themselves. |

Source: Gregg Williams instructed Saints during speech to injure Niners offensive players - NFL - Yahoo! Sports
Could be a looooooong while before GW ever sees a NFL sideline again. (as a coach anyways)

Just listened to the audio, and he pretty much suggests to them taking out the ACL on Crabtree. Now that kind of shit should probably get him a lifetime ban. I have no problems with a coach teaching knocking a guy out via clean hard football, but to suggest some of the stuff he's talking about? Put a hit on guys you know have a concussion, take out the ACL, go for guy's head? Nah, GW should be done with in terms of coaching at the NFL level.

Re: New Orleans Saints/Washington Redskins: Bounty Hunters
OMG..A NFL defensive coordinator told his players to knock a guy out. What's the world coming to? I'm sure Mr. Hypocrite ( Roger Goodell ) thinks that speech is a little over the top, and it probbaly was. But that's what guys do when they play defense. They try and knock guys out. It'll always be that way. Oh...and hitting guys in the knee is a legal hit. The Shanahan's taught this blocking style for years.

Re: New Orleans Saints/Washington Redskins: Bounty Hunters
I did. Not too big a deal. I know I'm in the minority.

They're running the audio track on ESPN right now.....
Darren Woodson: Not good with naming the players and WHAT to do to them. Over the line. All the rest is normal stuff....

Re: New Orleans Saints/Washington Redskins: Bounty Hunters
I mean I think one of the big reasons this is damning is because it's pretty clear evidence that Williams continued the bounty program after being told by the league not to

Man, this makes Rex Ryan sound like an altar boy in terms of profanity.
