The good thing about playing Niles now is that it ends the whole debate as to if he's a good TE worth keeping next year. His opportunity is now; not next year, Now!

Yes. He is the man. No, he's not doing it all. The line is blocking well, WR's are stepping up and AlMo is making yards ... and some superlative coaching is creating opportunities for RGIII to be "the man".

Clearly, Griffin is extremely confident in his abilities, as he should be, but great coaching has kept that confidence and his overall effectiveness at a very high level.

As to Paul, he has been less than overwhelming, but I saw more than a few solid blocks. Gotta improve the hands but he is far from the worst player out there.

That would be Polumbus.

The truth is Niles Paul simply isn't that good of a WR let alone a good TE. He might eventually become one but right now I wouldn't really try count on him too much at the TE position.

He's a great special teams player and a great down field blocker though and I think he can be of help as a Flex TE/WR but that's about it.

Where's Cooley at? I need him to start ballin' like it 2007.

"Morris gashed the Giants, and Shanahan has been masterful with his play calling, getting the most out of Griffin's immense, but developing, abilities."
...
"Shanahan has been tremendous in nurturing Griffin by using a very high percentage of play-action passes, often coming out of the pistol formation, which puts Griffin in a comfortable position and allows him to see the field very well."

NFL - The next areas of improvement for Robert Griffin III - ESPN

"masterful", "tremendous" ... yup. Those are the adjectives used to describe someone consistently getting out coached.

Just throwing it out there.

Some people really need to watch the all 22 film more often. Well, maybe not. Still gotta know what you're looking at. Just saying.

Don't have it. What would I have seen relevant to this discussion?

LOL. Yeah, I don't think it would really matter with some people. Played Madden way too much now all of a sudden, they can tell you schemes you should be running, and what plays to run which will not cause INTs/fumbles. Also find it hilarious that they claim a person can't block all because he missed a pickup that caused a sack. YET, he's one of the better blockers on offense.

He is one of the better blockers on team but missed a pivotal play which could have been much worse. Hence the move to TE, but at lease he catches everything...oh wait

Pauleson had a great game and is a much much better player than Paul. I just hope Niles is up to the task and puts everything together on the field this weekend. Like Shannon Sharpe said, the next move is out the door.

I already pointed out that its a good thing that Paulsen and Cooley are backing up Paul. Why? Because when the ball goes through Pauls hands there is someone there to catch it!

You guys aren't serious when you say Paul is a good blocker, right? He's missed many, many, many blocks all season, not just in NY.

Why does the Madden thing come up so much? I've never played it, haven't had video games since Sega lol. Can you really learn that much from a video game?

No, you cant learn that much from it, thats the joke about it. But there are some people who believe that building a team in Madden - Franchise Mode is similar to building one in real life. Problem being that they have to have a computer weigh trades and you can manipulate the system unlike what will happen in real life.

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread

Went to the game with my brother overall had a good time, had some good banter with the migget fans. TRUST ME when I say this they KNOW RGIII is the truth (as long as he stays healthy). Couldn't understand why they would think I would give them a HIGH 5's for a good migget play that will never happen, I do shake hands at the end of good games though. IMO a win is a win no matter how it happens but the miggets know they got away with one there. I voted other the game came down to a mental lapse IMO.
