Paintrain's all encompassing 'discuss all things offseason' thread (Version 2.0)
Im not really sure what the two sides are here? Lol. I am not a Sam fan or a hater. Im just pointing out the fact that he and tim tebow may have been or be in the spotlight, but he is going to make it in the NFL depending on what kind of player he turns out to be. Tebow got a chance, and it turned out he wasnt an nfl caliber qb. Sam may or may be an nfl caliber LB, but that has nothing to do with the media or his personal life imo.

Agreed. This guy is 100% dedicated to earning a roster spot imo, and not just taking a spot away from someone else ala Jordan and the Whitesox. Edit: i just believe if you could get inside Sams head that he believes he is good enough to be a pro, and at this point atleast could really care less about anything else.
