SOmeone blamed our defense? You must be kidding. If it weren't for our defense we'd be blown out every game.

Until these players give a crap about winning, it ain't gonna happen. The Eagles, Giants and Cowboys all go out there wanting to win the game. I don't see this with this team, even with Gibbs and the new coaches. Pick up their fat paychecks and don't care if they win or lose.... and I don't want to hear Gibbs saying how the players busted ass all game. Mentally these players are not there... I'm so tired of seeing all these Skins teams looking so great on paper and playing so lousy on the field.

I don't think it's so much the soup as the team mom.........that's what we need........it Snyder is willing to pay for a ref in the booth, he should pay for a team mom to read bed time stories and to watch the players diet....... Thanks for a smile Jamaican Skin............ |

I agree that they lack desire. Unfortunately, that's the hardest thing to change. But perseverence and patience are the only solution. The worst thing we could do is contemplate another major shakeup - that's part of the reason we have this attitude in the first place...

I think Gibbs will help Snyder keep a cool head, so I doubt that there are gonna be any major trades or anything like that

Whats the difference between a blow out and a four point loss.. a loss is a loss. Defence should be winning games but it isn't.
All aspects of the team are failing coaching, offence, defence and special teams BUT this is a process and it is the chopping and changing things around which has got us into this mess. If Gibbs cannot motivate these players then I am at a loss to think who can. Anyone thinking Spurrier would be winning here right now maybe wasn't watching the team last year and may have missed the news flash that he walked out. |

You think it was tough watching this game on TV? Try sitting next to the Dawg Pound and watching your team hand the game to them. Those guys are nuts. I really gotta hand it to the Browns fans, though. They might hate and boo Garcia, and their team flat out stunk going into this game, but it was damn near deafening in that stadium when the defense needed a big stop. That place was packed, and everyone that went the game was there to be heard. I was really impressed by the spirit these fans showed, despite their team's record coming into the game. Their fans stick through the bad times (and they've had plenty of them), and they show up for every game. They helped the Browns win this one.

You gotta give the Dawgs credit Joe for sticking by their team.....but if you went to their boards I bet you'd find a discussion that resembled the same as here..... Course they are happier this week because they won ...P.S. Did they throw any dawg biscuits your way???????????/ |
