Re: 2022 Commanders off season thread part 1
Landon Collins just told me he's moving on from the Washington Commanders, per him.
"They asked me to take a pay cut. The first one was fine. Then they asked me to take another one. The money changed after they signed Carson Wentz. I'll just take my chances in free agency." Josina Anderson

Final total for Washington on Collins was about $44.7M for 3 years. Final numbers were 35 games, 239 tackles (153 solo), and 3 ints.

Bobby Wagner could be Fletcher 2.0.
I'd go hard after him. |

Re: 2022 Commanders off season thread part 1
If we can land QB and MLB before Free Agency AND draft, that takes the biggest needs off our board immediately and we can let everything else come to us. Wagner would be a home run here.
I would love to actually go best player available in the draft for once.

For this team it's not a big loss, especially if they are able to get a stud MLB. If I were a MLB, I think this would be a fantastic destination - playing behind that front 4. |

Re: 2022 Commanders off season thread part 1
If we can sign Wagner that totally frees up #11 to be BPA or maybe better, a trade down opportunity. And never mind playing behind that front 4, he'd likely make it better!
Presuming Scherff is also gone, I quite like this, though I'd love it if Hamilton fell to us @ 11 (no trades, but I'd listen to every offer): 11. Garrett Wilson WR Ohio State 47. Zion Johnson OG Boston College 112. Mykael Wright CB Oregon 188. Grant Calcaterra TE SMU 228. Nasir Greer S Wake Forest |

Re: 2022 Commanders off season thread part 1
The more i think about it I wonder if Frank Reich was more an enabler to Carson's supposed bad behavior; maybe Carson needs RR to be like look i am going help you but i am not putting up with your shit.
I think Carson used FR as his safety net so he ran his mouth a bit too much, lets see him in a world where he needs to prove himself and there is no FR safety net. Its definitely sing or swim time for Commander Carson.

I'm excited to see what TM can do with a QB that can throw beyond 20 yards. |
