If I may be so bold as to disagree, I don't think the team lacks the DESIRE to win, I think it has to do with EXECUTION (too many mistakes (turnovers, dropped passes, fumbles, poor clock management etc).....

You think it was tough watching this game on TV? Try sitting next to the Dawg Pound and watching your team hand the game to them. Those guys are nuts. I really gotta hand it to the Browns fans, though. They might hate and boo Garcia, and their team flat out stunk going into this game, but it was damn near deafening in that stadium when the defense needed a big stop. That place was packed, and everyone that went the game was there to be heard. I was really impressed by the spirit these fans showed, despite their team's record coming into the game. Their fans stick through the bad times (and they've had plenty of them), and they show up for every game. They helped the Browns win this one.

You gotta give the Dawgs credit Joe for sticking by their team.....but if you went to their boards I bet you'd find a discussion that resembled the same as here..... Course they are happier this week because they won ...
P.S. Did they throw any dawg biscuits your way???????????/

Actually, they were pretty civil for the most part. Nothing got thrown at us, but we were wearing our Redskins hardhats, just in case. We got a lot of "Asshole!" chants from the Browns fans, but that seems to be standard procedure whenever someone wanders into their stadium wearing opposing colors, and it was all in good fun. All the folks sitting around us were pretty friendly, too, even when the Skins were leading.

I'll take thrown away balls over INTS every time. Brunell is not throwing the ball out of bounds if a receiver is open. On one play Coles stopped running his route to complain to a referee about a pass interference in the middle of the play! What in the hell was that?

Its not so much him not throwing it that bothers me, but theres tons of open feild somtimes and he throws it away. They said on the pregame that Gibbs told him to throw it away and not run. I think thats crazy, whoever its on. If its just Brunell not wanting to run , or Gibbs telling him not too, its stupid. He could have gotten like 3 first downs today running the ball, but he just threw it away.

I'm just a little disappointed in the play overall by Brunell. I like the guy but he is simply not playing well right now. "Put-em in coach" my vote is for Ramsey, we have to show him that he won't be playing deer in headlights anymore as was the case last year.

So if that's Gibbs' call, for the QB to throw the ball away and not run, then it really wouldn't be any benefit to start Ramsey would it? If he doesn't want Brunell running I'm sure he definitely doesn't want Ramsey (who's much slower) running.
