remember Anthony Mix? Mix did have some good ST stops though

I don't think that we've seen enough of Mitchell to know, but just like the backup QB, people buy into potential.. if anything, last year taught us that we didn't exactly see an efficient use of our offense last year

Hey, Mitchell caught passes in actual regular season games - and looked good doing it, so I don't see he has done half as much.

^ But Brennan walks on water. Let's see Marko do that.

i wasnt giving mitchell love. i was merely pointing out williams' insignifigance. i could have said, "someone needs to clean the toilets, don't they?"

that said, mitchell's done 10 times more than "pineapple jes15" at this point in his career. Mitchell has a shot to make the final roster. Brennan doesn't.

I should have explained that I understood what you were getting at. I was kind of just making a general statement about Marko Mitchel. Trust me I knew that you were being sarcastic.

As far as your second statement is concerned I was being sarcastic in my first post.

Hahahaha. I think this is funny as crap. Taylor feels that Miami won't pick him up again so he goes to the rival and tries to twist Miami's arm into making a decision and keeping him. Miami plays the games for about 2 weeks and finally says no we don't want you. Mean while the Jets are treated to "oh wait Miami is interested in me and I really hate the Jets and don't want to be one so let me see if Miami will take me back." Only to be rebuffed by Miami. lol. If I was a Jet I'd boo that mother every time he got on the field.

I don't think they'll have to worry about seeing him on the field very much.

Expect Mark Brunell to sign with the Jets shortly now that Taylor has signed

I thought Brunell couldnt sign with the Jets if the Jets acquired Taylor... something about the final 4 rule?

You know what? You're right. I got it backwards. Brunell can still sign but probably not until August sometime.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)

Clearance sale in Dallas!

Quote:
The Cowboys have reportedly put DE Marcus Spears, LB Bobby Carpenter, S Pat Watkins, G/C Cory Procter, and WR Sam Hurd on the trade block.
The former two were first-round picks. Spears was outplayed by his backups a year ago, and may be available for a late-round pick. Carpenter could appeal to 4-3 teams that play a less physical style of defense. Watkins is highly athletic with incredible size, but highly prone to injury. Having signed their tenders, Procter and Hurd are free to be moved immediately.

Marcus Spears

Most of those players are crap, but Hurd would be a nice pickup (and Spears would have been fine -- pre-Carriker).
