But what I do like is he knows how to consistently build a winning team. It's just the hump he has trouble with.

Re: Coaching Changes

I just saw this on sportsnet, this amazing considering all the coaches they have been through!!!!

John Madden was the Raiders linebackers coach when Oakland hired him in 1969. He was the last head coach with a defensive background in Oakland.

Seems pretty low odds to me. I think Cameron sucks. Baltimore would do themselves a favor to get rid of him.

If he's brought into a situation where they want him to do the grunt work, and then let the "future" young coach take over, maybe that would work. Of course, I'd probably be a bit resentful if I put all the work in building a team and then letting some other coach take my team to the Super Bowl.

Well the mind set is for him to somehow finally get over the hump. Bring the team a consistant 9-7 or better getting into the playoffs every year type of team. You can't think SB unless your atleast in the playoffs which he will atleast get you to.

That's awesome for him! I'm really glad to see him take the next step in his coaching career. I hope he has nothing but success there, and keeps progressing on the coaching ladder.

Samuels is doing it the right way...as opposed to sitting on his couch and tweeting that he should be an NFL coach

He's the Raiders longest season ticket holder. That's about what they are down to on the "coaching list" these days.
