Well again, McVay is calling the game and I think Gruden calls a few here and there. But it's predictable and they refuse to adjust.

Don't worry, we'd lose in the first round anyway. He'll call that soft, safe, predictable offense we've all come to know and loathe.

Our play calling was garbage, and Desean needs to get punched in the face.

Who cares about the playoffs anymore. We can't beat Dallas at home. We will just get embarrassed at home by the Seahawks.

That game was just fucking sickening!

It was definitely sad. That said, our line sucked and Kirk missed open receivers throughout the game.

When Jay Gruden kicked off his first season as head coach, he also served as in-game play-caller. But as the season progressed, he realized that his coaching duties required his attention in other areas as well, and so although he still composed the game plan, the coach tabbed offensive coordinator Sean McVay to handle the task of relaying plays to the quarterbacks. Gruden would select the play, and McVay (who also helped design the weekly game plan) would then radio the play call to the passer.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...he-game-plans/

If that's still accurate, then McVay just radios the calls in. Dude's just a figurehead. Gruden does all play selecting.

F$ck Dallas! Game thread

First place and we r gonna win the division. Djax absolutely destroyed us on one play. As for the playcalling Dallas has not blitzed this much all year and they bought the effing house. So unexpected. Couple horrible calls that killed drives too. I aint looking to burn anything down. We were supposed to win 6 games this year. Yall would have taken first place at 5-7 at this point so rest easy folks.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread

There were plays to be made, guys just missed blocks, passes were off, gotta just execute better. I think it's just a sign that the roster needs more talent, we have too many inconsistent players still. Consistent players make teams better, and we don't have enough yet.

That too. Passing could've gone differently had they not left Lee unblocked all night.

I mean, speaking of playcalling and o-line sucking, why are we not using Darrel Young to block on some formations? I mean what is that dude doing with his life now? Just special teams?

Also, Jordan Reed should do NOTHING ELSE in practice except practice blocking. He is making the offense incredibly predictable because they can't even use him on running plays; they have to sub in extra lineman. That's how bad he is.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread

Well this is why people aren't lying when they talk about how bad our division actually is. If we were really the team some of us thought we are, there is no way the Cowboys turn the ball over 3 times and don't pay for it in spades. This game was the Giants game all over again, but the Cowboys made the play in the end instead of us.

This why the experts look at our division and pick the Giants, because our team still can't be trusted to step up in these situations. We want to act like we are better than our fellow sub .500 teams but it isn't true.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread

If I was in the press, my question: Who actually called the plays this game? Once answered, rebuttal would be you fucking sucked!

This.

Missed field goal. Djax fumble. Those two cost the game.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread

Marinelli called a great defensive scheme and we didn't/couldn't adjust, stupid penalties, MeJackson and ST failed. On the bright side Mason Foster came to play, stepped up and had a heck of a game. We played most of the second half without Paea and Hatcher.
