Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
He's 18 / 48 on throws 20+ yards downfield. Pretty bad

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
According to NFL stats he is tied with Big Ben with 29 completions for 20+ yards. Baker Mayfield has 30.
I know that may not be the same stat you are quoting, but I am also pretty sure most qbs completion on passes over 20+ downfield are low. They are generally low percentage passes. I could not find the particular stat for comparison rankings though. (x passes complete out of y passes thrown) Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
How do you measure weak arm .. seriously do they have long ball contest , fastest throw etc .. I know TH has a flaw that a lot of QB’s have , they throw off there back foot .. but in the heat of the play maybe that’s all they can do .. so what’s he gonna do tell the coach I took the sack because I couldn’t step into it .. Some of the best Teams have short to medium pass game that relies on timing backed by a solid run game ..

Mostly it's just an eye ball test. Not hard to see the ball doesn't exactly jump off his hand vs someone like Josh Allen let's say. |

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
It's not hard at all to see, you really don't even need A22.. He floats the ball more than anyone else. it's not a knock on the guy but the truth is the truth.. He's also not very accurate which is the bigger concern..

One guarantee is that he will give it his all, every cell in his body goes 110%.
It may sound cheesy but heart wins you that extra final inch and that one inch is the difference between winning and losing. Im getting pumped up. I love sports. |

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
I honestly don't know why this continues to be a discussion with some fans. He doesn't have an ideal NFL arm. Like you said it's not a knock, it's just the truth. He can obviously still play at this level, but at times his lack of arm strength is an issue for him on certain throws.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
Tough stretch to get to the playoffs, but yeah if he leads the team and stays healthy he should go into camp #1.
I wonder if playing time will help him understand the value of camp? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
To answer the Lamar downfield Q
He's 17/51 on throws 20+ yards in the air
