Not upset, just critical. And I already explained why. In sum, a franchise as tattered as ours might want to consider a more subtle debut of the new name. I would counsel a dignified press conference at CommandersWhateverPark rather than yet another round of Danny's Hype in commercials and on the Today Show.

We are both fans and I welcome a different opinion. Yours just seem to lack any substance.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about yours. On 2/2 we'll have something legit to gripe about at least.

Personally I'm not upset. And I agree the video itself is really good. And it's true that a multi billions dollars franchise rebranding is going to be advertised.

I just think it's fair to wonder if the timing of the first airing was Dan's ego induced. It's slightly different if it was locally aired though.

The commercial said fans are like family. With the charges for parking at practice, making public transportation to FedEx very difficult, a leaky stadium, suing octogenarian ticket holders, and putting a crappy product on the field for decades, that’s a bit of a stretch. I just hope with a reset that the overall experience will improve. It’d be nice to have more to cheer about.

I do think we have potential. RR is easy to root for, and we have some great (young) core players who are playing well or who have bright looking futures - McLaurin, Allen, Cosmi, Way, Gibson, Sweat, Young, Fuller, Kurl. Just keep building. Less hype, more substance. Kind of the opposite of the Cowboys.

With that said, with the "fans have always been family" line it's pretty obvious the new name will be the Washington Olive Gardens

The guy talking about substance is worked up over a commercial. Brilliant.

I have plenty of legit gripes with Snyder. A commercial to try to sell some tickets tied in with the re-branding is pretty far down on my list though.
