Re: Drunk Thread
We had a big time wine distributor at our Bethesda location tonight. We were popping some serious bottles for them. Got to take a few sample bottles home for free.
Drinking a $300 (retail) bottle of a French blend right now. Ridiculously good. And it cost me nothing. Rock and roll.

I've got a serious red wine buzz. Work at 9:30 tomorrow morning should be awesome.

Re: Drunk Thread
Haha. I'm finishing that very bottle right now. Even more delicious now that it's had a days worth of breathing.

Re: Drunk Thread
wow seems like a long aeration though I've never dealt with a wine like that.. rhum barbancourt is reminding me both of why I used to love rum and also why I'm not much into it anymore

Re: Drunk Thread
Rodney Strong Knotty Vines Zinfandel. Delicious with the pork tenderloin we cooked tonight.

Re: Drunk Thread
Had it marinating in a peppercorn sauce (garlic, shallots, ground peppercorns, olive oil) overnight, then cooked in the oven at 375 for about 30 mins. So tender.

Re: Drunk Thread
I've been on a vodka kick lately. Picked up some Core Vodka, if you can find some in your area I highly recommend it. It's a hand crafted vodka made in NY from apples. Very clean and smooth. Great in a martini.
