Can't argue "Fun Bunch" was ridiculous, plus it was before my time.

The Hogs is a classic. Will L.O.B be around in 30 years?

This what I was referring too. That nfc championship he was bad no doubt. Twice he delivered perfect throws to receiver where it went through their hands and were intercepted.

im actually in awe of the comeback in that game....that comeback in the last 5 minutes of the game will be remembered as one of the greatest. Clutch is the overtime throws by Wilson, simply perfect

Reminds me of the beer league softball guy that calls himself Hollywood or HandJob or any other nickname.
I'm pretty sure you're aware their whole secondary is referred to as the LoB. If it was one guy I could understand it being weird, but it's a group of guys, and if they can continue being great for the next 5-10 years or so, it would be reasonable to think that nickname will go down with all the other great nicknames in NFL history, i.e. Hogs, Fun Bunch, Steel Curtain, Purple People Eaters, etc.

That is why i do not like the Seahawks. I didn't say it made any sense. Every time i see a commercial with one of them saying "We are the Legion of Boom" i puke a little. Not a lot but a little.

I agree the secondary is really good. Kam Chancellor is a beast.

In today's NFL, with free agency and the salary caps it's hard for me to believe they will be together in 2 - 4 years. They are going to have to pay Willson and Russell Okung. Its going to be hard to pay Sherman, Thomas, and Chancellor 31 million a season and take care of Wilson and Okung.

What do you do with Marshawn Lynch? Do you let him walk or pay him top RB money?

I dunno, Legion of Boom is a pretty cool nickname IMO. Another SB win and they definitely cement themselves as legendary.

Back to back does.

Two super bowl wins will put Wilson in the NFL Hall of Fame.

Re: 2015 Redskins Coaches/Coordinators News

If they win this super bowl (and play well), probably will go down as the best secondary ever.

Beat Brees last year and made Jimmy Graham look afraid.

Shut down Manning and the deepest receiving core I have ever seen.

Beat Rodgers and made him look pretty mediocre if not just plain bad.

And now they are playing Brady.

Probably the four best quarterbacks of the past 5 years. It is amazing to me how bad they have made three of those QB's look and now they are given another chance vs. Brady.

Lynch will walk, because even for a player as good as him, nobody will bet on him defying age to be the guy who he is now. Wilson will stay, because even if he loses back to back SB's, he still got them to back to back SB's. If they're smart they'll keep the LoB together, all of them are young. Sherman will remain paid, they'll definitely pay Thomas, and Chancellor and Maxwell will get good deals. I didn't think they would be able to replace Browner when he left, but they just kept on truckin'.

And besides the salary cap will most likely keep rising, so if the Seahawks are smart they'll recognize the key guys who deserve to be paid. If the guys in the LoB are smart they'll recognize they have an opportunity to stick together and be recognized as one of the greatest secondaries ever, and if not hopefully they'll be dismantled. I'll finish by saying I'm no fan of the 'Hawks, and I will be rooting for NE tomorrow, but I still have to recognize the team they have assembled. Without that secondary or Marshawn Lynch does anybody think they would be going back to the SB? Lynch held it together against GB until Wilson got his shit together, and that secondary is probably the greatest we've seen in years.

LOL, great catch.

@Omaha: I wouldn't say Wilson is a shoo-in if he wins tomorrow. I'll wait and see what happens when Wilson has to carry the offense once Lynch leaves. What if Wilson experienced RG3 type regression and flames out in Seattle? It's too early to tell, but he will have a great start if the Hawks win tomorrow. I will say if Wilson gets back to back SB wins, he could have an above average career from here on out and probably get in.

Matters what your definition of a legend is.
