Yup if you test positive and you are vaccinated and asymptomatic than have at it.

The only other option is a vaccine mandate. It is also the more fair option. Most players are vaccinated and should not be subject to any of this. They happen to catch it and become symptomatic than they play when they are physically able like any other ailment.

This here aint working though. Cannot let the unvaccinated dictate the numbers. The end game of all the covid rules is for players not to become gravely ill or die , it isn’t a punishment for catching it. So take the unvaccinated out of the equation and there is nothing to worry about.

We can have 95 percent of players playing or 50 percent with this garbage.

Not only that, you can still spread the virus and you may spread it to someone who gets really sick or worse. What a mess. Largely avoidable mess.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

As COVID forces NFL into lockdown, testing changes are being made to get infected players back quickly

Heinicke added to the covid list this morning. Team is signing Garrett Gilbert off the Pats practice squad. He's the likely starter on Sunday.

I'll embrace the chaos it is in my nature. I hope it has the sharks and line setters sweating in vegas.

Symptomatic can spread em. Coughing, sneezing, etc. Asymptomatic and vaxxed? Clear them now.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

I'm sure this won't happen, but next year the league should mandate the vaccine and just not test anymore. Anyone who refuses to get vaccinated is out for the year.

I could not agree more.

many may not agree w/ me but enough w/ all this testing and making players sit out if positive. do they sit people that have the flu?

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

Speaking of that, maybe we should mandate the flu shot too while we're at it.
