Organized Threat is reminding me why I fell in love with hip hop. The new generation of emcees with actual skills and old school production... in other words, the anti-Drake/Wayne. (NSFW)

I saw Bob Segar back in the 80's and his concert was nothing fancy but the music was great. Now 25 years later his money must have run out and I'm going to see him one last time. Not sure what to expect.

No, the show is not until April 30th. I saw him back in the 80's and he put on a great show then. Nothing fancy just played good music and great sound. We are doing the 80's tour this month and also going to see Fire Fall also in April.

Saw Bob Segar last night and it was a great concert. He had very large band of 3 girl back up singers, 4 guys playing horns, his sax player, piano player, and a lead, bass, rythem guitar players. For a 68 yr old he still has a good voice but you can tell he stayed within his limits on some songs. We met my buddy and his brother which we saw him back in 1987 and he still had his ticket stub. The ticket price back then was $15 including tax and this show was $89.

Very new group coming out of ATL. No album yet, just 2 singles on Youtube. I love the R&B/dubstep sound and fantastic lyrics.

I don't know if they'll ever grassroots themselves from Youtube to the radio (a la Macklemore) but they've made me a fan.

I like how this video has shades of A Clockwork Orange!

Well we saw FireFall last night and had front row seats. I'll have to say they put on a great show and they sounded surprisingly good for their age. They only played about an hour and fourty minutes but they stuck to all their hits and thats what we went to see anyways.

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

I have actually been trying to see some of thee bands (that actually have surviving members)that....ain't gonna be around forever. In the last couple few years we have seen Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, John Fogerty (of CCR) and ACDC, Axl Rose.....
It's been a real good time.
ALL were good, but FM was really good. ACDC is everything a classic R & R show should be....awesome!
