Yep. Those are from the 2010 season. Apparently they aren't wearing a throwback this season.

But it's still bad.

Hands down, the best throwbacks out there belong to the Detroit Lions.

I love the simple uniforms.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over

I understand people don't want to look like some other team. Some just dispise BC or FSU, thats ok. So since we are not going to be able to get everyone to decide on the team actually using the colors they started with or colors according to their team colors are supposed to be then to satisfy the fans who hate and dispise change....

I'll settle for DS making a public announcement that he is changing the team colors to Indian Red and Yellow. Then no one can argue that the team is not wearing their team colors, and those fans who hate change can be happy they get to keep their non BC/FSU, original colors.

The throwback uniform that Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan modeled the other day resemble the Boston College Eagles football team's jersey so much. Has anyone else made this observation?

You are either the greatest troll ever or living in a world of complete obliviousness. You make me feel as if this is an inside joke I am not in on. Please, take a bow.

So I've read we will only wear the alternate uni's for 2 games so I'm thinking at least one game will probably be Thanksgiving day. I'd presume the other would be a prime time game also if we have another one.

The closeups allow you to appreciate the helmet so much more than just looking at it from afar. At first I wasn't a fan of the color of them, but seeing the closeups and how they were to resemble the old leather caps, I like it. HGI did great work on this along with Nike on the uniforms. Can we just stick with these for the whole year?..lol

Who gives a damn what the new uniforms look like. Seriously now, the Skins can have the sharpest uniforms in the entire NFL, but if they have a losing record this season, who cares! Another nothing story/drama to garner press!!

The Reskins have the coolest color combo in the entire NFL, and it has remained sharp since the current uniform scheme was introduced at the beginning of the Gibbs era. Maybe they want to have a redo for Shanny, but I am not so sure we will get the same results. I guess I am more of an anti hype guy anymore. It seems the more they hype something up, the less genuine or less quality that object or product is. Unfortunately, in this case , it means the NFL.
