Ofcourse but if he has a good year and another team offers him more he is going whether we win or lose. He is certainly not taking Garcon or Jacksons spot.

How is he going to leave? He signed a 4 year contract.

OTOH, I question whether Garcon will play all 16 games next season. And would love to see PG, DJ, and AR compete with each other.

(and Leonard Hankerson... this is your wake-up call.)

I dont see why Roberts would be upset to be honest. In this day and äge 3 WRs start.

Always a way or a trade, etc. since when do contracts mean anything? Lol
Im just in agreeance with Mooby about his future if things unfold that way.

I think this is the best WR corps since Monk, Clark and Sanders. Except this offense now has 4 pass catchers with Reed, plus Morris in the backfield. With Griffin getting a full offseason to improve his game, on paper this offense looks pretty damn good. Still have questions about the line though..

I won't measure this offense by yards but by points. Teams will be forced to be the Redskins of the recent past. Jackson makes Morris a perennial pro bowler.

Pierre had the injury two years ago and came back to lead the league in rec's and break the Redskins season record. I have no more a doubt he will play all 16 games ( and three more &#128521 than anybody else will.
Being a Miami guy I sure hope Hank steps up. My God if he does our wr corp will be amazing.

If Hankerson stays healthy the whole season, I bet they resign him next year. If he gets hurt again, though, he'll probably be gone. However, I wonder how long Roberts is going to be here. It's obvious that he isn't as important now due to the unexpected release of Djax and the subsequent signing. Perhaps they trade him for a draft pick and select a WR to develop while Garcon and Jackson are in their primes. If that happens, Hankerson's chances of sticking around here get a lot better.

Didn't see this commented on.. By this interview, Jeff Darlington says DJax went BACK to LA after his signing to meet up with RG3 again (around 1:17 in video). That's surprising, but if that's true, its certainly encouraging that they are already getting along so well and on the same page. Last year, it seemed that RG3 only targeted Garcon in high-profile situations (esp when Reed was out), and now he could really mix it up.

A good draft and we could legitimately be back in the mix.

He certainly has more options thats for sure but I'm confused as to what Garcon's current type is. Some people seem to consider him a deep threat others view him as a work the middle/intermediate type.

Personally I prefer to think of him as a possession receiver with deep threat capabilities.

As you can see though a lot of Garcons big plays seem to involve him running past a defense thats already in front of him, this in contrast to DJax who has more then his fair share of big plays where the defense is already behind him when he's making the catch.

IMO that's a good way of understanding Garcon.

Re: Redskins Sign DeSean Jackson

PG's game is run and catch. He's not a possession/throw it to the sticks type and he's not a just run past the secondary and catch the ball type either. Get him the ball with some space though and he can do some damage.
