All I'm saying is there are other QB's that are just as bad with the interceptions. Now the next arguement is going to be that he's not putting points on the board and as I said there have been plenty of balls that should have been caught for a TD but were not because they were dropped. Maybe if the team had decent WR's those dropped balls would be TD's and we would not be having to talk about the lack of points on the board. But I'm sure Beck will come in and fix this issue (how I don't know) no different then anyone of those top ranked QB's would be able to come in and fix our problems. |

You're missing the point.

Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
And those other QB's have like 17 Tds by now also except Cam and he's a rookie that will be a superstar

Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
Lol No I see the point I mean it happens to all the QBs but Rex has done this his whole career.

All I'm saying is perhaps it's not all Rex. But we fans are quick to ship him because of the INT ratio per game. I'll gladly eat crow come the next few weeks when Beck has to face more talented teams then the Panthers and can put the points on the board a long with cutting down on the INT's. But I just doubt that I'm going to half to. Nothing against Beck, I'm just saying I think we are going to see the same if not similar results from Beck .... who seems to be some fans savior for the season. |

Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
Actually, it is a fair point that even great QBs have stretches of throwing picks. But even for the excellent ones who have done so this season (Brady, Brees, et al.), they've also thrown a lot of TDs -- a lot more than Rex.
The reality is that Rex just hasn't been good this season, and we've largely won 3 games despite him, not because of him. As I see it, his performaces are as follows: 1. Giants win -- a good game all around for Rex. 2. AZ win -- a terrible first half, but a solid second half and comeback win. 3. Dallas loss -- awful 4. Rams win -- awful 5. Eagles loss -- awful By my count, that is 6 quarters -- out of 20 -- where he has played well. And that just doesn't cut it in this league. I like the guy and was rooting for him to be successful. And I like the fact that his teammates are pulling for him -- see the Moss response -- which suggests he's showing greater leadership in practice than appears evident on the field. At this point, I would argue for giving Beck a shot. Rex is a turnover machine and has been his whole career, and as we do not exactly have an explosive offense (a great D, though), we have to basically play mistake free football to win games. And I just do not have confidence he can do that. |

This statement is incorrect also. Some of them do some don't. Brady- 16 TD's , 8 INT's. Brees- 13 TD's , 8 INT's. EManning- 11 TD's , 5 INT's. Romo- 8 TD's, 6 INT's. Roethlisberger- 9 TD's, 6 INT's. Vick- 9 TD's , 8 INT's. Rivers- 6 TD's , 7 INT's. All I'm saying is we fans are quick to point the finger at the QB, no matter who's in the game, but we don't know who's fault it's been actually on each play. Only the coaching staff would know if the WR failed to run the right route, if the QB made the correct decision with where he threw the ball. On top of that what about the dropped balls by the receivers? clearly that should not count against either QB who starts. |

Rex won the QB "competition". Shanny is a genius.

Brady- 151 games, 111 INT's. Brees- 144 games, 140 INT's. EManning- 111 games, 118 INT's. Stafford- 19 games, 25 INT's. Roethlisberger- 105 games, 92 INT's. Vick- 104 games, 66 INT's. Grossman- 46 games, 49 INT's. I'm soo glad EManning and Stafford suck just as much as Grossman. I wonder when those respected teams will start chanting for the 2nd stringer. |

Some, not all. Anyhow, been watching some game tape and my concern isn't so much the Interceptions. It's that guys are getting wide open and he's missing them.

Anyone notice after that pick they showed Cooley talking to Rex on the sideline, probably asking him what happened. Rex says something and you could see Cooley say "F that". I'm assuming Rex probably said Davis effed up the route. |

Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
This is pretty insightful,
Playing Redskins' INT guessing game I'll go back to saying put Beck and lets hope it all works out especially with the long ball but if the receivers are not going after the ball or fighting for it we will see more of the same. |

and I always hate to hear this.....

I think if you don't go back and see what went wrong, and look to how to fix it your destined to repeat history. The coaching staff refused to go back and watch last years game to see what went wrong and not allow it to happen again, and it happened again. So I guess the coaching staff would prefer to go that route again and just throw out this film thinking this game was a fluke also. |
