Haven't heard any reference to Davis type issues and Amerson since though, even with the game he sat out. He has a ton of talent but his head doesn't seem to be in the game. |

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Maybe Amerson's problems were losing D Hall and having a revolving door at both S/SS spots ? We also had very little pass rush , that being said , maybe changes to the coaching staff and upgrades on the DLine will help Amerson improve .

We will find out about Amerson this year, after Deion Sanders called him out at the combine.

I don't like Amerson's make-up. I don't think he has the burning desire to be a great football player like McC talks about.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
With so much added emphasis on the run in the NFC East I think we should sign Brandon Spikes or take Rolando McClain from Dallas. Both are better than Perry Riley. Also I would sign Greg Hardy to a one year "prove it" deal. We now have enough depth to handle what ever suspension he may get.

Riley is fine against the run.
A TE running a seam route however ...

I'd much rather have a ILB who is so/so at run coverage and better at pass coverage than one who balls out at run coverage and is the invisible man when the ball's in the air.

What is jermaine Gresham up too? TE has been an overlooked need for too long.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Interesting article on Taylor Mays ( USC / Bengal ) Taylor Mays is a beast, Folks - Hogs Haven . Not that he would solve or problems , but might be a nice addition if the money is right .
