Our signal caller has a makeshift offensive line; no running game; and a suspect defense and is still putting up solid numbers.

This is the reasons Was has always missed out on great or at the least QBs and have been one of the worst run franchises in three decades. Let's be real the only reason why Cousins hasn't been resigned is because Snyder just doesn't want him here. He's butt hurt his last project didn't work out and Danny boy has deluded himself into thinking he can find another great quarterback. But hey considering his past track record with picking them (Jeff George; Patrick Ramsey; Jason Campbell; and RG3) we should be OK finding a replacement for the best one we've had in the thirty years of sucktitude we've been mired in.

Not about number , it is about winning ball games and leading your team to victory when it counts. What is the Redskins record with Kirk. Did he lead his team to victory against the Giants last year when a playoff spot was on the line. A win you are in game . Did he beat the Cowboys or the Eagles at least once this year?

The record point is a fact but its a team game, 1 guy cant win games. Plus our coaching isn't as good as those teams either

Nah, Kirk should have sacked Brees at the end of the N.O. game. Wilson, Brady and Alex Smith would have.

I turned on 106.7 today and Chris Russell is just unloading on Bruce Allen. Calling him a "snake, fraud and a phony." He also said that the minority owners of the Redskins dislike him. Pretty interesting stuff as this probably has something to do w/ the Cousins contract situation.

Silly man, KC doesn't play defense. He should have used his QB ESP and gotten inside Brees' mind convincing him to throw to Redskins. THAT'S how real Franchise QB's win the game!

There is a lot of talk that Kirk won't stay if Bruce is there. I've seen some on here mention that too. I don't blame Kirk if this is true.

What did Kirk do when the Redskins got the ball. Kirk can’t win under pressure. He is not a game changing QB. Last 2 victories subpar teams under 500. Should have lost to Zona. 8-8, 9-7 will not get you to the playoffs in the NFC. Let’s say the Redskins sign Kirk. Only 6,teams can make the playoffs. Vikings ,Eagles, Rams, Saints, win the Division next year. Panthers , Green Bay , Falcons, Seahawks, Dallas, are the other 2 playoff contenders. I say Dallas because they whipped the Skins twice this year.8-8 and 9-7 will not make the playoffs next year. Are we looking at another year next year not making the playoffs.YES

Kirk Cousins has 11 4th quarter comeback wins in 54 games. 1 out of 5 games features a 4th quarter come from behind win by Kirk Cousins. This is while having a bottom of the barrel defense and running game.

Kirk only lead the largest comeback in Redskins history when we were down 24-3 against the Bucs two years ago alright, and since then has had an additional 10 fourth quarter comebacks, not including the Giants game where he scored a td to go ahead with a minute left and our defense gave up a 75 yard td to let the Giants win. Clearly that's not good enough.

S/N this qb went 24/43, 233 yards, 1 td 2 int, with a rating of 59.5 and a qbr of 35, and lost to the mediocre Dolphins of all teams only 2 weeks ago. That qb is also sitting atop the throne as the GOAT. The point is even the GOAT has a bad game once in a while. Acting like one guy can't win a big game is reason not to sign is horseshit given that we field 45 players every game day. We don't need Kirk to win games in spite of the rest of the team, we need to have a complete team with a good qb at the helm. That's what Kirk is, and if you haven't noticed there aren't plenty to go around in the NFL. Stop acting like we need a Brady/Brees/Rodgers to do anything, it's a fucking team sport.
