Re: Let's win for Sean: Bills vs. Redskins game thread
The game shouldn't have come down to that.
The OL didn't do jack all day long. We let them hang around and that's what happens when you don't put a team away when you have the chance. |

I try to be so supportive but that's just.. I can't speak. Total disrespect to Taylor's memory. |

Re: Let's win for Sean: Bills vs. Redskins game thread
Emotionally, this is no Disney movie. Many of us could not produce knowing what happened last week, and the pending funeral tomorrow. I am not saying that the game should not have been played, but it may not have been fair to expect them all to play with the fervor that Smotty showed today. Sean's life meant more than football. To his fiance and daughter he was a man. Quite possible, we saw men caught up on emotions - and not the football players we expected. Sometimes life is more than football.

Re: Let's win for Sean: Bills vs. Redskins game thread
Well, that was horrible but we know what we are. I think we all have to admit that not having ST at the end of that game was a huge difference maker.

The O-line, and Joe Gibbs should really be ashamed of themselves.

Re: Let's win for Sean: Bills vs. Redskins game thread
Tough week for the Redskins, no question about it. I know I'll get beaten up for this, but they're still not mathematically out of it.
But you almost kind of wish they were so they could just go out there and play relaxed. To lose a teammate and on top of that have to play for the postseason can't be easy. They didn't make plays when they were supposed to. The game should have been decided long before that final field goal.
