Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
If the Browns draft RGIII what does everyone feel about trading 1 of our 4th round picks for Colt McCoy, if that was enough for the Browns to trade him? I would be all for it, he is still young and has potential to be good. He came from the Browns who don't have very much talent on offense, so I think he would be more capable with the Skins and the talent we add this off season. He has the mobility that Shanny likes. Then we would have our young starting quarterback plus # 6 overall pick and 6 other selections. I haven't seen this discussed anywhere. Then we could still draft another qb such as my guy Kirk Cousins, to completely re-do our qb situation.

And I wouldn't worry about the Seahawks drafting Tannehill in a trade back because if the Browns take RGIII and we still need a QB then chances are Flynn is in Seattle. Still I would be more upset that they didn't pay the price to trade up for RGIII. What you want to fight? \ You want a piece of me to? BRING IT! I'LL TAKE ALL OF YOU ON!>!!>@#@>@#@

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
I still say:
Rams get: #6 overall pick in 2012, 2013 1st round pick, 2012 and 2013 3rd pick and 2013 5th round pick. If we have to trade.

If they draft Cousins, Foles, or RG3, I'd be satisfied with that too. |

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
can anyone explain why so many people on here want kirk cousins? id like to hear what they like about him that would make it seem like he could be our starting qb down the road, because i just dont see it.

His numbers in college actually wasn't bad at all. He's exactly what Colt McCoy was in his final year at Texas. But Cousins would be anywhere from a 3rd to a 5th round selection. |

Me neither. He seems like a career backup to me.

Overall, he seems like the kind of guy that Shanny would pick, believing that he can mold him into a solid qb. He has all the attributes on paper, might be good in a few years if he could hold a clipboard for a while. I'd be happy if we got him in the 4th or 5th after getting our franchise qb in the 1st. Either way, we really need 2 qbs in this draft. |
