I've been through a few 2nd favorite teams in my lifetime. The old Browns, the Oilers/Titans. All for a reason. But you spend 6 years in the NY/CT area and you get immersed in Giants/Pats/Jets news. I kind of embraced the Jets. And it's stuck with me But the gap between the Redskins and Jets is HUGE for me

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread
I dislike all of the other 31 teams except when they play the Cowboys.
I don't understand why you'd share your love. Question for Smootsmack: Why did the Redskins let Horton go? Is he in game shape and/or what's he doing these days? I'm asking you as you always have the inside scoop and I think that (unless he really effed up) would be a great addition in the back field. Thanks in advance. |

When i hit quote on my phone ( i dont know lately my phone has been crapping out alittle on this site) i see this whole other thing about Dallas!!!!! However - i hate the Giants much more than Dallas. When I was a kid - like Danny White era i hated the Cowboys with a passion. Not so much anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread
He never really improved past that "lucky" 3 TO game he had back in 2008 against the Saints. Not part of the current regime so they didn't really feel any obligation to him. He's still tight with a lot of the guys here and think he works out frequently with them. But no one's really knocking down his door. They did take a quick peek at Kareem Moore earlier this year, but he's got knee issues

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread
it's too bad horton's big game didn't happen in the super bowl, he could have larry browned himself a juicy contract out of it. i remember seeing horton jerseys shortly after that game, i always asked myself "why?"
i think his dreads held his good luck, once he rid himself of them, it was all over. but didn't the giants gave him a look this year?

Re: Skins/Giants post game thread
redskins and orioles, don't really care too much about other pro teams. caps and wizards by default.
watched a lot of lakers games last season because that's all they show, but it feels gross to root for them. they're one of those mass love/hate teams like the yankees and cowboys.
