Edit: this is where a real GM, as in one who actually makes personnel decisions, overides a coach like Mike Shanahan in the decision to not take the truly best QB available or just shows coach the door. Unfortunately, Snyder still hasn't gotten this FO thing right. We've got a GM that's really just the HC's toady and the coach can't get it right to begin with.
True, you made a valid point but why would you think that Shanny won't be here in within few years? What if the team actually got better next year or two years later, you would still not want to extend his contract? Beside, in my opinion, a good (or great) QB should be able to play in any kind of system, that also includes Shanny's system.

He's 59 and can't win any games?

This is only 2nd year that he is supposedly to rebuild a team from scratch, the team that Vinny completely destroyed. I would prefer to give him 5 full years that he asked for before deciding anything.

Then if the rams listen to Gruden and do that, they should trade Bradford to the Skins.

Let's fire up the "Chucky to St. Louis" bandwagon. LOL.

Agreed.

Heard Gruden saying tonight that he really likes RGIII and him and Jaws had their stupid argument over him and bradford.

I've been hearing a lot of Us and Tannehill. I must say if we get Tannehill I will not be a happy camper, because he's very undeveloped and raw.

I'm torn on this one...I really don't want a QB project. I want us to get a guy that hopefully can come in and contribute like Dalton has this past season. But I also would HATE to see freaking MS saying at the end of next season that the QB they picked could not fit into their system (a la McNabb).

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)

The Rams who are so thin at talent, could be tempted to trade with the Browns who have 2 1st rounders and want Barkley badly.

Yeah, outside of Bradford...and maybe Jackson, their offense is terrible. I'm sure they need help on defense too.

Brandon Lloyd is pretty good.

Re: 2012 QB Prospects (Part 2)

Very true about the Rams. I mean their picking second overall I don't see them moving. Also as we all know Matt Barkley and Matt Kalil are linked together as a 'package' here is the most recent article regarding Kalil.
NFL.com news: USC's Kalil says he hasn't decided on his playing future

If if comes down to picks and talent, I could definitely see Cleveland trying to trade with St. Louis. Its just a matter of if we have something to offer St. Louis and what we're willing to give up.

Cleveland desperately needs a QB. And they've seen how a good QB has completely changed the Bengals. If they don't want to continue to be the bottom dwellers of the AFC North, they should be talking to the Rams or whoever picks after the Colts and trade up to get that franchise QB.
