After he was tackled, and the skins were in easy FG range, Morgan stood up and threw the ball at the defender. Blatantly obvious unsportsmanlike penalty. As bad as Micheal Westbrook removing his helmet on the field, over a decade ago. Easy 15 yard dead-ball penalty. Took us out of realistic FG range.

Hard to say any play lost it for us, but that one hurt. And it was oh so unnecessary on Morgan's part.

Morgan made the catch and Redskins were in field goal range 48 yarder and and Finnegan and Morgan exchanged words and Morgan threw the ball at Finnegan got a penalty that turned the field goal attempt into a 6o+ ydr which was missed and we lost the game.

Morgan made a stupid mistake, u don't cut him for that. The refs let it get to that point the whole game was filled with those type of penalties that weren't called.

The main question this week was, can we play consistent football on both sides of the ball week to week? As of right now the answer is no. The offense has done its' part two weeks in a row, but defense/st has not.

It is 1:40 AM right here in Paris. Watching a game which finished this way is soooooooo painful!
Merci Mr. Morgan!

By no means is Morgan not at fault, but even that play was called wrong. Should have been offsetting unsportsmanlike conducts on both Finnegan and Morgan.

i can't even put into words the amount of disgust i have towards these replacement refs

Kindoy I thought that is what would happen too....but it's just like when you were kids and your parents punished the kid that took the last shot, instead of the kid that started the whole thing....still INEXCUSABLE by Morgan!

I hate Finnegan but just D.hall he is good at getting inside his opponents' head and making them get stupid penalties.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams Gameday Thread

Honestly this team has not been good/dominant in twenty years, it is unrealistic to have any expectation that Skins are 'supposed' to beat the Rams or anyone else for that matter. How many years now have we had the last place schedule and have had to go play the Rams? Four/Five years now?

Don't get me wrong I am fan, and have been a fan for a long time, when I was youger would probably have broken a couple keyboards, or put a fist into the TV/drywall after sitting through a debacle like this game. The worst part was all of the yards the defense gave up. It is the most worrisome thing about the game since the front seven was supposed to be the strength of the team.

Garcon can't get healthy soon enough. On the subject of injuries how bad was the Carriker injury?

I wonder how many holding calls went unnoticed by their offensive line?

A lot, like usually. Rak and Kerrigan getting held on almost every play like usual I'm sure.
