Maybe Todd Collins is just so far ahead of everyone else in the system, that he only looked bad because no one was quite at his level yet... yeah I think I'll stick with that, that'll help me sleep at night.
Seriously though, I don't think anyone was expecting Montana out there. He's better than he played, but not really by much. Those that cannot do, teach

Hmmmm.
I know it's preseason and game 1 of preseason... But our depth got killed by 2-3rd team CINCI. Portis hurt... Nonetheless future still brighter than has been last 2 seasons. I think this loss might be the unsettling blow that everyone needed to bring 'em back to earth. I was ready to blow money on betting on them to win it all. Now I remember how the NFL works... Funny how ya forget that stuff in less than 6 months. LOL. REBOUND to GLORY!!!

Bad bad and more bad in this one. B.Lloyd was the only bright spot. As for what is to come well only time will tell. Betts if he is healthy can do the job till Portis gets back. Something I really didn't like was the way we were tiping our blitzes. Collins looked like a deer caught in head lights! Wow bad!!! Let us pray that Portis is ready foe Sept 11th!!!
