Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

I'm a realist too. I really don't know what to think about this game. We haven't seen this team all year. We haven't seen the team who had defensive starters pressuring the QB on EVERY PLAY against a great Bengals offensive line (yes, it was THAT long ago in preseason). We'll finally see that Sunday.

We also had Ladell Betts instead of the stud Clinton Portis. While I still think Brunell will stunt the passing game, I think Portis will make a MUCH a HUGE difference. I don't see how Cowboy fans can seriously think they can come INTO FedEx with our starting D finally healthy and put up 30+ points on us when they couldn't do it at home against our scrub backups IN Dallas. And don't blame your boy Bledsoe on that. Every OTHER team in the league had a field day with our crappy secondary.

Oh, and how impressive that was to see (against the Bengirls). Gives me chills just thinking about it!!! If we are healthy, we are in a GREAT spot to start over here and now. GOD WILLING! I LOVE MY SKINS!!

Malcom I don't see 30+ point I do see 20+ points because that's what it has done almost every week so the thing we have to look for is that Can Brunnel and that offense score 20+ points on the Cowboys D.

I might even give them 21 points, but no way 30+. I'll tell you this. They might not score 20+ points, but they'll make a game of it. This game won't be anything close to what it was in Dallas. While I don't think Brunell makes a lot of plays, I DO think that Portis will and he'll at least keep it close.

I don't know Malcolm I'm more scared of cooley and Moss then Portis, Portis is amazing but he has never been able to put huge numbers against the cowboys.

The other thing is your defense which will show up the 35 point last year blow out 1 or the 1 that has shown up in 7 games this season I'm rutting for the second.

Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

If anything, it can't be worse than it was the past seven games. Sure, one player doesn't make a team, but take out Kenny Wright (who was good for at LEAST one or two touchdowns EVERY SINGLE GAME this year) and replace him with a Shawn Springs and that'll make an enormous difference.

Portis put up some pretty good numbers in that second game last year. The Skins just have to pound them and not get away from their game. I'm also planning on FINALLY seeing a Randle El gadget play too. We've only run one this year.

13-13 the game ends in a tie.....

it,s just a guess especially since this season has pretty much gone up in smoke.......heres to campbell getting the nod but i don,t see it happening..

my real prediction 20-13 skins......

yeah in that game portis had 112 yards rushing 0td wich is OK if he were the factore but honestly that game belong to Cooley he just destroyed our D he was the threat. Like Moss in the first game last year.

There hasn't been a game when you can say man Portis just destroyed us out there

Oh, I wouldn't say that at all, but he was a vital part of that game. His running opened up plenty of passing lanes for the rest of the offense.

Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

brunell should be able to get the ball to cooley in better position than in the last 7 games, he's the tight end for christ sake, just lob it up to him. We gotta utilize him a lot more, especially if brunell doesnt have to arm to go downfield along the sidelines.

If we're going to do any lobbing, I'd rather it be to Lloyd. The man can JUMP.

I asked you this before. Are you talking about how you swept us last year?

Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

Because for me it seems like it's what have you done for me lately. You got the first one, but for the first time you'll see Portis and our ENTIRE DEFENSE healthy. The same one that held you to 13 points and 7 points in two games last year.
