Yes, I am originally from Philly though. My wife is from NJ, that's why I am here now. My whole family is Eagles fans, yet somehow I grew up a Redskins fan. It started in 1976 as a 5 year old because I loved the color red and it grew from there. I put myself on the ticket waiting list in the mid 80's and got the call for tickets a few years ago.

Who cares, it's their money. They missed a hell'of'a finish and it's their loss.

Right, and it's not even about how good the game is either. People who leave early are going to leave regardless of how good or bad the game is. It's just what they do. I stay till the final gun even if it's a blowout...so leaving a good game early is somethign i can't even fathom. They are people who obviously don't like the team that much and would rather get home a few minutes sooner. Every stadium has these people...it's not like Fed Ex is the only one...maybe we have more of them but we also have more seats in the stadium.

True, but those kind of fans can damage our home field advantage a bit. If they are the type to leave early maybe they also are not even making any noise.

No a true Redskins fan never leaves his tickets at home. The only game which we were not in our seats by kick off was the first Dallas game after 9/11. We were in the parking lot by 11:00am but waited a little to long to head to the stadium and the lines where long due to security. If only die hard fans showed up to the game there would be about 20,000 empty seats ever game. It does not bother me when some people start to leave its their money and any support is better than none.

As the fan you're questioning for forgetting tickets, I'm glad to know that the final arbiter on all Redskin fan matters posts to this board.

Relax! We all make mistakes. Don't assume he's not a true Redskins fan simply because he forgot his tickets.
Absurb... simply absurb.
Since a selective few have chosen to make this thread a "bitch session" here's mine.....
Personally, I wish the 400 pound, fake hair- weave wearing BUFFET PRINCESS (usher) who guards section 121-122 would fall down a few flight of stairs. Her disposition is nasty, she has a problem minding her own business, and she's rude to almost everyone in her section.

I was at the game up in the club section and noticed it. Horrible. I also noticed that in the club section many fans stay inside and watch the game. I was shocked! The club section is designed to get as much of your money as possible. I felt like I was at a mall food court. After the game they even have a concert. I honestly have never seen anything like it. Fed Ex is no RFK and never will be. It's all about money and advertising with this team. One of the bars is called the Lexus something. I forgot the name but I know it was called Lexus. I hope one day the team comes back inside the city.

again, danny built a stadium were people can go to NOT watch the game (lounges should close while a game is in action) . the leaving early is a reult of penny pinching on infrastructure (adequate roadways in and out of FedEx) that's mainly on maryland, but it's a bad situation. not to mention the high ticket prices and a team that's not playing that well lately :/.

and then people wonder why the place isn't that loud.

The only people that I saw leaving early were Panthers fans.

Re: Fan's leaving Fedex early

I'd have to say it's far worse for someone to leave early than to arrive late or to "give up" on this board. Leaving early tells an entertainer (and that's what these guys are) that what they are doing isn't interesting enough to hold your interest. Arriving late doesn't have the same impact, and I assume they don't have time to check out this board during the game to see what we're thinking. ;-)

So can when your QB flips off the home fans.

I don't think this will hurt us too much. If our football players are so fragile that someone leaving their seat will make them run to the lockerroom crying, we need new players. It's not like we have fans who boo their new QB on draft day...cough, Philly, cough.
