Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
Is he worth that kind of money? Hell no!!! that is the same deal that Hutchinson got last year and he isn't close to being as good as Hutch. I am sorry to see him go but if the skins would have paid him that much dough I'd have throwin' up.

Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
What irony it would be to see our D-line eat Dockery for lunch when the Skins play them this coming season.

I hear Dallas is trying to get Davis to play Guard - better position for him as he has the T Rex arms - and sign for 12 mil.

Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
Jansen stayed because he got paid your right he did show his true colors. Its green just like it is for all of the players. Thats what matter to them. Not the team colors. Jansen hasnt been the same since his HOF injury. Should move him to guard and try to keep wade as our RT>

Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
Thanks for the memories Dock! Glad you got your pay day! As long as Buges is still coaching the O-Line I doubt this will be that big of a loss!

It seems like the Boys still have a lot of problems with their offensive line and an aging WR corps. Do you have any idea who the Boys are targeting to address those, or any other, areas of need? |

Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
Not to be a ass hole but what memories do you have about Dock? He has not been this great player! He can be replaced with someone as good. He not S.Moss or Taylor! We will move on!

Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
when did people even start getting so high on dockery?? The entire time he was here all we did was bitch about how he was the weak link on the offensiveline, taking such a longtime to develop into anything worthwhile. The situation is almost directly comparable to carlos rogers...when is this guy going to pan out. If carlos were to continue playing at the level he's at right now, in a couple years would people want the skins to pay him this kinda money just to keep him?? I agreed that we should try to keep dock strictly for continuity but that price was way too steep.

Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
I told everyone earlier that he wouldn't be on the market for long. How come all the "football" people are so high on dock, saying what a good player he is, but all of the sudden people out here say he is crap. face it, another dropped ball by this organization. Lets sign some more FA because we all know that works well. This is an absolute joke. Overpay for people from outside, and cant take care of our own players. we weren't even offering anything in the ballpark from what i heard.
its funny how when we overpay and talk about contracts out here, everyone has a justification for it. Dock signs a 7 yr 49 million deal and its crazy. We overpay give 10 million to Randel el, lloyd, carter, arch and its ok?? We screwed this one up. we let a good, improving, massive run blocking guard walk right out the door. Now, we will have to overpay someone to come in and fill his spot. ABSOLUTE F'N JOKE! |

Re: Derrick Dockery signs with the Bills
Apparently Steinbach has signed with the Browns for 7 years, $49.5 million. Not sure what the signing bonus was
