So what if we made him angry about asking the great shawn springs to take a pay cut, everyone may be on smoot saying hes not as good as springs, but at least he plays with heart unlike this clown. Am i wrong for thinking this way?

You're not wrong, as I think that many of us are fed up with him getting hurt (namely last year). But also remember he hasn't missed that many games up to last year and has played his ass off for us when he's been in.

Re: What to do with Springs??

In 2004 and 2005 he only missed one game for us. I don't think we can really label him as much right now as "injury prone".

Re: What to do with Springs??

Springs is still way better than Carlos, so we should keep him around for at least next season. If he is again injury ridden, then we can dump him next season. I think he will be fine. I am more concerned about Washington's hip at this point. With all the brouhaha over the potential Briggs trade, I am wondering if Redskin Park knows Washington won't be ready to play come September.

Springs isn't one to choose to sit on the bench. He wants to play, even hurt he plays. I have no worries.

Don't forget the carolina game when springs held steve smith, one of the best recievers in the nfl to just 34 yards. Springs must stay!!! Check out this video of how nasty our defense use to be: 2004 Skins Defense Highlights Video

Well he didn't get beat every game even remotely and the technique they played was dictated by the coaches. for whatever reason they played off all year. Contrary to popular belief CBs don't usually get to decide how far off the WR they play. It is dictated by situation and scheme.

Can't go along with that. The kid will be fine, yea he had a rough year but that's what happen's when you stick a #3 in and make him your #1, and who didn't?

He's been working hard this offseason, I think you will have a change of heart.......he will be MUCH IMPROVED!

Re: What to do with Springs??

This is a shame, because 12thMan had this fantasy of you, a Carlos Rogers jersey and some "illegal contact"

But seriously...why are you singling CR out?
