It's about friggin time someone said it ! Honestly HOW MANY PASSES WILL THIS GUY GET ???? Over two years this man has thrown 47 picks !!! Forty EFFIN Seven. 38 TD's and 47 picks ?!?!?!? Over the last 3 years His completion percentage has dropped from 64.1% in '04, to 61.3 in '05, to 56% in '06. He's fumbled the ball 21 times in three years; 4, 10, and 7 respectively. He's had a pretty good offensive squad to work with I mean what should he have a Pro Bowl WR core around him ? Watching Packers games is a pain for me. For every pick this guy throws there is an excuse. We all know about Madden's man crush but let's not talk about Chris Collinsworth. LORD DOES THIS GUY HAVE A THING FOR BRET. Either the WR wasn't in the right spot which I guess is fifteen more yards downfield where the safety was which was where the ball ended up getting ? Or he doesn't have any help. Every year I have to watch a NATIONALLY COVERED press conference about this has beens decision to stay or leave. It has really become frustrating for me, and I'm sure it has become frustrating for Packers fans. Who has he helped lately ? Yeah he may make the game exciting because you never know if that 65 yard bomb will be a td or a pick ? Triple coverage, forget about it! I mean who else throws a bomb to the same guy to get it picked in the same spot two plays in a row and still get away with it ? FAVRE !!!! If any other QB in the league had done the things that he has done they wouldv'e been sent to the gallows a long time ago, but not the Bret. Oh no, he's a gunslinger ! He has balls, the fire to win at any cost. We all remember Ramseys pass to Cooley in triple coverage, but think about that every single pass play ? That'd be cool wouldn't it. He literally plays the game like he's playing Madden and he can hit the reset button because no one is around to see. I honestly forgot he won a Super Bowl, seriously and I won money off of it. Talk about tarnishing your legacy. Just let it go Bret.

Re: Brett Favre wants to be traded from Green Bay
Yeah you are probably right. Nobody would have picked him up if he was serious about it. He will end his career as a Packer, as he should. I can understand his frustration,. but why cause all the controversy at the end of your career when you are not real good trade bait so to speak? I don't give him a year. I give it a 50/50 chance he retires before the season starts. The Pack isn't going anywhere this season, so he might as well save his body from more punishment. He really needed to pack it up after 2005. By then the handwriting was on the wall the party was over in Green Bay.

Farve would be a perfect fit for Chicago. I mean perfect. GB is still looking at between 7-9 wins as they are a middle of the pack team.

Favre to the Bears...quickly followed by the rapture the next day. It would improve the Bears in the short run, but it looks like they are going to let Grossman develop to his maximum potential and just deal with his shortcomings. Its probably better for the long run than cutting Grossman right as he gets to his prime and then having only the options of really old, and really young at QB.

Re: Brett Favre wants to be traded from Green Bay
it has nothing to do with his skills. and everything to do with his decision making. takes way too many chances

Maybe they have been trying to force him into retirement by not helping out the offense.

Re: Brett Favre wants to be traded from Green Bay
Favre has been to 2 Super Bowls, winning one against New England, so he doesn't have to worry about being the next Marino.

Re: Brett Favre wants to be traded from Green Bay
bring him here!!! Sike, his best fit would be Miami or Lions ( like they would trade him there).

Re: Brett Favre wants to be traded from Green Bay
Damn Madden and Collinsworth? What about frigging Bradshaw since they are both Mississippi QB's? Favre can't do any wrong with Bradshaw, almost a God. Fox spent I don't know how many seasons kissing Favre's ass. He has sucked the past 3 seasons if not more. He will retire, trust me. I think he realized his mistake and is setting the stage up for this. I just can't see anybody picking him up for a year or two, unless he signs on a low $$$$$ contract

I believe he will suck up at least one more year in GB, when it's all said and done.
