Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
"There goes our season" was the first thought that crossed my mind.

we are done, and not another year of Brunell. Todd Collins gets my vote for back up. brunell is down right brutal to watch

I was pissed off, and Im still pissed! There is no need for BULLSHIT HITS in the game. I think Roger should start throwing out some big fines for these fuckin hits! One STUPID HIT like that could ruin any teams chance to make the playoffs, but more importantly put somebody in a hospital or worse! It was like deja vu of the Carson Palmer injury!

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
These guys going down during the pre-season would go down during the regular season. Cutting the pre-season short won't dissipate the inevitable, you'll just push it forward to the regular season.
Simply put, shit happens and will always happen.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
I can think of 4 letters that come to mind. Then I started thinking of 7 other letters..........BRUNELL.............Another reason why I'd like to have Collins as 2nd string.

I just think if say C. Griff did somthing like that week 3, and he was suspended for a game, skins' fans would be going ape-shit. Fine, yes, guys get fined all the time for hits and I dont think this is any different, but a suspension I think would be far to harsh

You're right, we definitely will have agree to disagree because I'm thinking at least 4 game suspension is warranted for ending someone's season and possibly career.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
I nearly lost my mind. Screamed. Thought I was going to throw up. Tears on the verge. I pulled a Joe Gibbs and went the bible route, “God, please no….don’t do this to Joe, to me, to Jason…the team…” Some say I even asked for a sacrifice (Clinton Portis) in stead of JC.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
welcome Kate, and i agree with gmanc. i think once the steeler guy got off the block, he was starting to lose his balance immediately. to me there was no intent.
